ACCOUNT OF THE DA`WAH OF THE APOSTLE OF Ibn Sa’d’s ALLAH, MAY ALLAH BLESS HIM, TO THE TRIBES OF ARABIA DURING THE SEASONS (OF PILGRIMAGE)

Muhammad Ibn `Umar informed us; he said; Ayyub Ibn al-Nu’man
related to me on the authority of his father, he on the authority of `Abd
Allah Ibn Ka`b Ibn Malik; (second chain) he (lbn Sa’d) said: Muhammad
Ibn `Abd Allah related to us on the authority of al-Zuhri; (third chain) he
(Ibn Sa`d) said: Muhammad Ibn Salih related to me on the authority of
‘Asim Ibn ‘Umar Ibn Qatàdah and Yazid Ibn Ruman and others; they
said:
The Apostle of Allah, may Allah bless him, remained concealed at
Makkah in the first three years of his commission to prophethood. In the
fourth year he declared it and invited the people to embrace Islam,
continuing it for ten years. In every season (of pilgrimage) he used to
approach the pilgrims at their halting places, `Ukaz, Majannah and Dhu
al-Majàz, and asked them to protect him so that he might convey to the
people the message of his Lord, and in return they would get a place in
paradise. But he did not find anyone to support him ór respond to his
appeal. Again, he approached each tribe in its halting place saying: 0
people ! say, there is no god but Allah; you will prosper and become
masters of Arabia, and the Persians will surrender before you in
humiliation, and if you believe you will become kings in paradise. Abu
Lahab who followed him and would say: Do not obey him, since he has
become a lying Sabi. Consequently they made the worst of retorts to the
Apostle of Allah and maltreated him. They said: Members of your family
and tribe know you well and they have not followed you. They talked
with him and quarrelled with him. He would, however, invite them
towards Allah and say: 0 Allah ! if thou hadst willed they would not have
been as they are.
(The narrators say): The names of the tribes whom the Apostle of
Allah, may Allah bless him, approached, and invited (to embrace Islam)
and to whom he presented himself (for protection) were related to us.
They were Banu Amir Ibn Sa`sa`ah, Muharib Ibn Khasafah, Fazarah,
Ghassan, Murrah, Hanifah, Sulaym, ‘Abs, Banu Nadr, Banu al-Bakka,
Kindah, Kalb, al-Harith Ibn Ka`b, `Udhrah and al-Hadarimah. None of
them responded to him.

Hazrat ki aakhiri alaat ki ibtida is tarah hui ki aapko jukham hua aur bukhar aana shuru hua balgam jyadah tadad me banna shuru hua jukham ki wajah se hazrat ki aawaj bhi beth gayi thi . hazrat ka makool ilaaj ma’alja shuru hua muhrram hijri ke aakhir me hazrat ko s’aaf is qadar ho gaya tha ki aap ko chalne me taqleef hoti thi 25 muharram hijri ka wakiya hai ki hazrat ke khidmat me ek aurat aayi aur hazrat ko nihayat kamjor dekhkar ek dam chikh uthi ki miya sahab ab to achche ho jao. Hazrat ke kano me is aurat ki yah dard nak aawaj pahunchi. To hazrat ne itni buland aawaj me farmya ghabrane ki kya bat hai, ham achche hai.

Ki aurat ne jo door khadi thi aawaj sun li is jamana me jab nadar kha aaye to hazrat ne inse farmya jao aaj nahi. Kal aana jo log silsila me dakhil hone ke liye aaye the inko hazrat ne silsile me dakhil kiya inhi ayyam me nank shahi khandan k eek darwesh hajir khidmat hue aur talib hone ki aarzu jahir ki hazrat ne unki darkhwast manjoor farmayi hazrat ne inko silsila me dakhil kiya.

mehboob haqiqi se milne ke liye bekaraar hai munshi ki ghode se hazrat ki mureed shab tarik hai, jo khatm hone wali hia.

Aur bahali se muraad sawari hai. wah aa gayi hai yani samaan safar taiyar hai,. aur rawangi ke waste 4 baje ka waqt mukarrar hai isi douran nadar kha khidamte aali me pesh kiye gaye. Jinko hazrat ne aaaj hi hajir hone ka huqm diya tha hazrat ne in par yah nawajish aur karam farmya kki khal aate fakhar se mumtaj kkiya aur fakeer shah ki khhitab ata farmaya fir unko yah nasihat ataa ki.

Raahe muhabbat me agar ibtila bhi pesh aaye to us ko khandh peshani se bardasht kare aur is ko shaheed we niyaz ki inayat samjhe aur masawaye Allah se kuch bhi sarokar na rakha jao.
