THE KINDEST TO HIS FAMILY
Prophet Muhammad gave great importance to maintain family ties and serving one’s family. He always fulfilled his obligations to his family and relatives and warned against cutting the ties of kinship. He declared doing so among the major sins. He constantly encouraged his followers to take care of their relatives and to be good towards their family and dependants. The Prophet led by example and would help his family in the household chores and show them much attention and love. He set the standard to measure true excellence by saying: “The best of you is he who is best toward his family, and I am the best of you toward my family.”
