Islam has 5 rightly guided caliphs . The fifth Rightly Guided Caliph is Imam Hasan . The Prophet Muhammad ‎ﷺ‎‬ said , ‘ Rightly Guided Caliphate will last 30 years’ . If we calculate till the Caliphate of Mawla Ali it adds up to 29 years and 6 months ‘ 💫 Imam Jalauddin Suyuti has also included Imam Hasan in his book ‘ The Rightly Guided Caliphs’

Maula Ali Alaihissalam ki Shahadat ke baad Imam Hasan Alaihissalam 6 Mahine tak Ummat ke Khalifa rahe aur jis din Khilafat khatam hui us din 30 saal purey hogaye they jiske baareme Aaqa SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya ke Mere baad 30 saal tak Khilafat rahegi aur uske baad mulookiyat shuru hojayegi.
Allah ne Imam Hasan Alaihissalam ki Muhabbat aur Gulaami FARZ ki hai. Ahle Bayt ka dushman bhi Aapki Zaat-e-Pak se bachke bhaag nahi sakta.

उम्मते इस्लाम ने पूछा तक नहीं ,
आखिर क्यूँ दिया इमामे हसन को जहर…

किसी आलिम ने बताया तक नहीं
नाना के पहलू में क्यों नहीं लिटाया नबी का लख्ते जिगर ..

किसी मस्जिद में आवाज़ तक नहीं उठी ,
क्यों बरसाया इमाम के जनाजे पर तीरों का कहर..

जब जनाजा इमाम का लौटा खूंन से तरबतर
इससे बड़ा कोई जुल्म नहीं मासूम शहीद पर

इतने जुल्म से भी दिल नहीं भरा तेरा मरदूद
शरीयत के नाम से तूने ढहा दिया इमाम का महल

हर्फ ओ आवाज़ की तरतीब ये केहती हैं,
हुस्न मेराज़ को पोहचें तो हसन (अ.स.) बनता हैं …

ومن خطبة له (عليه السلام)
في أوّل خلافته

إنَّ اللهَ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْزَلَ كِتَاباً هَادِياً بَيَّنَ فِيهِ الْخَيْرَ وَالْشَّرَّ; فَخُذُوا نَهْجَ الْخَيْرِ تَهْتَدُوا، وَاصْدِفُوا عَنْ سَمْتِ الشَّرِّ تَقْصِدُوا .

الْفَرَائِضَ الْفَرائِضَ! أَدُّوهَا إلَى اللهِ تُؤَدِّكُمْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ. إنَّ اللهَ تَعالَى حَرَّمَ حَرَاماً غَيْرَ مَجْهُول، [ وَأَحَلَّ حَلاَلاً غَيْرَ مَدْخُول  ]، وَفَضَّلَ حُرْمَةَ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْحُرَمِ كُلِّهَا، وَشَدَّ بِالاِْخْلاَصِ وَالتَّوحِيدِ حُقُوقَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي مَعَاقِدِهَا ، فَالْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ، وَلاَ يَحِلُّ أَذَى الْمُسْلِمِ إِلاَّ بَمَا يَجِبُ.

بَادِرُوا أَمْرَ الْعَامَّةِ وَخَاصَّةَ أَحَدِكُمْ وَهُوَ الْمَوْتُ ، فَإنَّ النَّاسَ أَمَامَكُمْ، وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ تَحْدُوكُمْ مِنْ خَلْفِكُمْ، تَخَفَّفُوا تَلْحَقُوا، فَإنَّمَا يُنْتَظَرُ بِأَوَّلِكُمْ آخِرُكُمْ.

اتَّقُوا اللهَ فِي عِبَادِهِ وَبِلاَدِهِ، فَإنَّكُمْ مَسْؤُولُونَ حَتَّى عَنِ الْبِقَاعِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ، أَطِيعُوا اللهَ وَلاَ تَعْصُوهُ، وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْخَيْرَ فَخُذُوا بِهِ، وَإذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الشَّرَّ فَأَعْرِضُوا عَنْهُ.

At the beginning of his Caliphate.
Fulfilment of rights and obligations, and advice to fear Allah in all matters.

Allah, the Glorified, has sent down a guiding Book wherein He has explained virtue and vice. You should adopt the course of virtue whereby you will have guidance, and keep aloof from the direction of vice so that you remain on the right way. (Mind) the obligations (mind) the obligations. Fulfil them for Allah and they will take you to Paradise.

Surely, Allah has made unlawful the things which are not unknown and made lawful the things which are without defect. He has declared paying regard to Muslims as the highest of all regards.

He has placed the rights of Muslims in the same grade (of importance) as devotion (to Himself and His oneness). Therefore, a Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand every (other) Muslim is safe save in the matter of truth. It is not, therefore, lawful to molest a Muslim except when it is obligatory.

Hasten towards the most common matter which is peculiar to every one; and that is death. Certainly, people (who have already gone) are ahead of you while the hour (Day of Judgement) is driving you from behind. Remain light, in order that you may overtake them.

Your backs are being awaited for the sake of the fronts. Fear Allah in the matter of His creatures and His cities because you will be questioned even about lands and beasts.

Obey Allah and do not disobey Him. When you see virtue adopt it, and when you see vice avoid it.

27th Safar ul Muzaffar – Imam Sheikh Badruddin Ainee (Rehmatullahalaih)

Badr al-Din al-‘Ayni born 762 AH (1360 CE), died 855 AH (1453 CE) was a Sunni Islamic scholar of the Hanafi madh’hab. Al-‘Ayni is an abbreviation for al-‘Ayntābi, referring to his native city.

“The greatest muhaddith” – All scholars and shaikhs of Syria accepted him as their teacher, and those living in Damascus used to attend his daily lessons. He had a photographic memory. Knew by heart all the hadiths of Bukhari, Muslim, and the remainder of the six most famous books of Hadith, including the biography of all narrators of all chains of every hadeeth, their dates of birth and decease, and their status of authenticity. Also, he used to explain the Qur’an by heart from al Baydawi’s Tafseer (explanation of the Qur’an). His ijazah was especially besought by Hadith scholars for being the closest one of his age to the Prophet(counting the number of men in the chain). Doctors and engineers who attended his classes used to say: We exhausted our life learning our profession, and he knows it more than us. He was also instrumental in the organization of the revolution against the French occupation. At every ‘Eid, he would go out, and he would give his students charity from his own pocket, and there were places, particularly in the colonialism era, where there were a lot of women that were impoverished and forced into prostitution to support themselves, and he would tell his student to give those prostitutes charity, and he would say to them, “Tell them that Badruddin Al-Hasani asked you to make du’ah (supplication) for him.” And those women would weep when they heard that: “Who are we to make du’ah for Badruddin Al-Hasani?.” There were people who repented because of that act.

Biography

He was born into a scholarly family in 762 AH (1360 CE) in the city of ‘Ayntāb (which is now Gaziantep in modern Turkey). He studied history, adab, and Islamic religious sciences, and was fluent in Turkish. There is some evidence that he also knew at least some Persian. In 788 AH (1386 CE) he travelled to Jerusalem, where he met the Hanafi shaykh al-Sayrāmī, who was the head of the newly established Zāhiriyah madrasah (school) and khānqah (Sufi retreat.) Al-Sayrami invited al-‘Ayni to accompany him home to Cairo, where he became one of the Sufis of the Zāhiriyah. This was a step upward for the young al-‘Ayni, as it represented entry into “an institution with ties to the highest level of the ruling elite.”

He established a good reputation and initially met with favor. However, after al-Sayrāmī died in 790 AH (1388 CE), al-‘Ayni became involved in a personality conflict with the amir Jārkas al-Khalīlī, who tried to run him out of Cairo. Al-‘Ayni later described al-Khalīlī as arrogant and dictatorial – “a man pleased by his own opinion.” He was saved from expulsion by one of his teachers, Siraj al-Din al-Bulqini, but prudently decided to leave for a time anyway.

From Cairo he went to teach in Damascus, where he was appointed muhtasib (overseer of sharia in the marketplace) by the amir, and returned to Cairo some time before 800 AH (1398 CE.)

Once back in Cairo, al-‘Ayni strengthened his social and political position by associating with several amirs, making the Hajj with the amir Tamarbughā al-Mashtūb. He also had the patronage of the powerful amir Jakm min ‘Awd, who was dawadār (literally “inkstand-holder”: a secretary or confidential advisor) to the Sultan Barqūq. After the death of Barqūq, al-‘Ayni became the muhtasib of Cairo, displacing the scholar al-Maqrīzī. According to al-Maqrīzī (an interested party) it was Jakm who obtained the post for al-‘Ayni; however, the historian Ibn Taghribīrdī states that it was a cooperative effort by Jakm and two other amirs, Qalamtāy al-‘Uthmānī and Taghribīrdī al-Qurdamī. In any case, this was the beginning of a lifelong feud between the two ‘ulama’ : “From that day on, there was hostility between the two men until they both died.”

Al-‘Ayni and al-Maqrīzī succeeded each other as muhtasib of Cairo several times over the next few years, probably a reflection of the power struggle between Jakm min ‘Awd and al-Maqrīzī’s patron, Yashbak al-Sha’bānī. Neither held the post for very long. In the reign of al-Nasir Faraj, Barqūq’s son and successor, al-‘Ayni was appointed to the “lucrative and prestigious” post of nāzir al-ahbas (overseer of pious endowments.) He would be dismissed from and reappointed to this post several times, finally securing it for good in the reign of the Sultan Mu’ayyad Shaykh and keeping it until he was ninety-one.

Al-‘Ayni’s prestige grew as he aged. Mu’ayyad Shaykh named him ambassador to the Qaramanids in 823 AH (1420 CE.) Later in life he would be called upon to lecture on learned topics before the Sultan, sometimes reading history aloud in Arabic and explaining it in Turkish for the Sultan’s benefit. The Sultan al-Ashraf Barsbāy is reported to have said “Islam is known only through him” and law lā al-‘ayntābi la-kāna fī islāmina shay’, “If not for al-‘Ayntabi there would be something suspect in our Islam.” Barsbāy sometimes sent al-‘Ayni as his representative to greet foreign dignitaries, apparently because of his fluency in several languages.

Barsbāy often turned to al-‘Ayni for advice on legal matters, and named him chief Hanafi qadi (judge) in 829 AH (1426 CE.) He was dismissed from this post after three years; by his own report, both he and the chief Shafi’i qadi, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, were dismissed at the same time because their constant feuding was distracting them from their duties; though he adds that this was a calumny spread by his enemies at court. He was later reappointed.

In the reign of Barsbāy’s successor, al-Aziz Jaqmaq, al-‘Ayni was dismissed as chief Hanafi qadi again. He withdrew from court and concentrated on his scholarly writing. In 853 AH (1449 CE) he was dismissed as nāzir al-ahbas, probably because of failing memory. He died in 855 AH (1451 CE) at the age of ninety-three, having outlived all his children, and was buried in his own madrasah in Cairo.
