Muslims abstain from food and drink from dawn to dusk in the holy month of Ramadan. It is important to get proper nourishment between Iftar and suhoor in order to be prepared for the next day of fasting. Fasting requires a lot of energy and commitment on part of each individual, especially when Ramadan is in the hot summers in most parts of the world. To not fall sick due to dehydration and the demands of this month, there are certain tips that one should definitely keep in mind while staying healthy during Ramadan.

1. Do not skip Suhoor: One should never skip Suhoor. Eating Suhoor in not only a Sunnah, but it is also the most crucial meal of the day. Suhoor provides you with the energy to keep you going throughout the day while fasting. Suhoor is the pre-dawn meal which helps your body stay hydrated and fueled up on energy and nutrients until iftar. It also helps to avoid overeating when you break your fast at sunset in iftar.

2. Keep yourself hydrated in Ramadan: This Ramadan comes at the peak of summers, so drink as much water as you can but not to fill yourself entirely with water so that you cannot attain and store energy as well. Make sure that you drink enough water once you break your fast in order not to remain thirsty after all. Try to keep yourself hydrated by water mainly, sugary drinks and juices can be your next best alternative but should not be your first priority.

3. Break your fast with dates: Dates are eaten at the start of iftar meal. Because they are a nutritious burst of natural sugar, they fuel your body with much-needed energy. So, we should begin our iftar with dates.

4. Avoid sugary food: Sugar results in highs and lows that leave you with more cravings and thus messes up your metabolism. Sugar gives you empty calories without nutritional benefits and results over-eating in Ramadan. it is recommended to eat the sweet food after 2-3 hours to regulate the sugar level as the body breaks the sugar faster making you hungry sooner.

5. Divide your Meal: Take care of yourself as you eat to live rather live to eat that is why dividing your meal into proper portions and timings helps in health stability during Ramadan. Eat mix food including fruits, veggies and a bit of meat to be in a balanced diet.

6. Avoid deep frying: When cooking, make your favourite Ramadan recipes healthier by stewing, baking, roasting, steaming or grilling and avoid frying.

7. Exercise: Never forget exercise during Ramadan. Add exercise to your daily meal is beneficial for your health as it leads to the easy consumption of food avoiding storage of fats. Exercise leads to a healthy weight and a healthy lifestyle.  Best is to exercise a couple of hours after having Iftar as it will not only help to digest food but also keeps your metabolism working.

When molten lava meets sea water it creates steam explosions.

Steam explosions are often encountered where hot lava meets sea water. Such an occurrence is also called a littoral explosion. A dangerous steam explosion can also be created when liquid water encounters hot, molten metal. As the water explodes into steam, it splashes the burning hot liquid metal along with it, causing an extreme risk of severe burns to anyone located nearby and creating a fire hazard.

Earlier today, a basketball-sized chunk of molten rock slammed into a tour boat off the coast of Hawaii, injuring 23 people and sending at least four to the hospital. The incident happened near the Kilauea volcano, which has been erupting since early May. As USA Today reports, the Lava Ocean Tours boat was hit by falling lava caused by alittoral explosion near the Kapoho volcanic ocean entry, where molten rock from the Kilauea volcano is pouring into the sea.

But 1400 years ago explosion of sea water was portrayed in the Quran.

[Quran 82.3] If the seas were exploded.

Today we know where hot lava meets the sea water it makes steam explosions.

When the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam) started inviting the whole of humanity towards Islam and started granting them the belief in the unity of Allah Ta’ala and His own Prophethood, the Makkans wanted to stop His Da’wah activities. Thus, Abu Jahl called one of his friends Habeeb Yemeni to Makkah to stop the people of Makkah from embracing Islam. When Habeeb Yemeni reached Makkah, Abu Jahl started complaining about the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam). On listening to all of this, Habeeb Yemeni said that first he will meet Him.

He sent a messenger to the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam) that Habeeb Yemeni along with the elite of Makkah wants to meet at such and such a place. The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam) went there. It was a full moon night.

Habeeb Yemeni asked the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam):

What do you invite people to?

The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam):
That Allah is One and only and that I am the Prophet of Allah Ta’ala.

Habeeb Yemeni:
If you are Prophet, then what is your miracle as a sign of Prophethood?

The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam):
I am ready to show you whatever miracle you desire.

Habeeb Yemeni:
I want to see 2 miracles. One, that you split the moon and the second that you yourself tell me what I want.

The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam) along with all the chiefs of Quraysh, went to the mountain of Safa. He (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam) gestured at the moon with His blessed finger and immediately the moon split into 2 and everybody saw it with their own eyes. Then again the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam) gestured and the 2 parts of the moon rejoined.

After this, the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alaahi wa Aalihi wasallam), for whom Allah Ta’ala has made plain what lies in the hearts, told Habeeb Yemeni:

O Habeeb Yemeni! You have a daughter, who is blind, deaf and lame. You desire that she get cured. Go! Your daughter is cured.

He only had to listen to this, that Habeeb Yemeni recited the Kalimah Shahadah and entered the fold of Islam.

When he went to his house, he saw that the girl who was handicapped earlier is herself opening the door. He asked her: Daughter! What happened? She said: Father! I saw a dream that a very beautiful and radiant person came to me, made me a Muslim by reciting the Kalimah Shahadah and passed His hand over my body and I was cured that very moment.

 Allah, send Your blessings upon our Master Muhammad in such a measure that earns Your pleasure, and send Your blessings upon our Master Muhammad exceeding that measure which has earned Your pleasure, and send Your blessings upon on our Master Muhammad forever and ever.

Surah 3. Al-i’Imran, Ayah 103

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

WaiAAtasimoo bihabli Allahi jameeAAan wala tafarraqoo waothkuroo niAAmata Allahi AAalaykum ith kuntum aAAdaan faallafa bayna quloobikum faasbahtum biniAAmatihi ikhwanan wakuntum AAala shafa hufratin mina alnnari faanqathakum minha kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihi laAAallakum tahtadoona

And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allah, and do not separate. And remember Allah’s favor unto you: how ye were enemies and He made friendship between your hearts so that ye became as brothers by His grace; and (how) ye were upon the brink of an abyss of fire, and He did save you from it. Thus Allah maketh clear His revelations unto you, that haply ye may be guided;

THE ROPE OF ALLAH IS WITH THE AHL AL BAYTH:

Hadith Number 3788: The Messenger of Allah (alaihiswalathu wa salam) said: “Indeed, I am leaving among you, that which if you hold fast to them, you shall not be misguided after me, one of them is greater than the other:The Book of Allah is a rope extended from the sky to the earth, and my family -the people of my house-and they shall not split until they meet me at Hawd, so look at how you deal with them after me” (Sahih)

THOSE WHO FELL FROM THE INHERITORS OF THE ROPE OF ALLAH (AHLUL BAYTH) FELL INTO THE FIRE:
Tabarani narrates from Abu Dhar, who said: I heard the Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi wa ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baaraka wa Sallam say:

مثل أهل بيتي فيكم كمثل سفينة نوح في قوم نوح من ركبها نجا ومن تخلف عنها هلك ومثل باب حطة في بني اسرائيل
‘The example of my Ahl al-Bait within you is the example of the Ark of Nuh within the nation of Nuh; whoever boarded it was saved and whoever stayed behind was destroyed. It is also the example of the ‘Hitha’ of the Bani Isra’eel.’ [Tabarani in Al-Awsat, Vol. 4, Page 283, Hadith 3506 | Mustadrak al-Hakim, Vol. 2, Page 427, Hadith 3312]

Hadith al-Safinah/Safinah Tradition:
Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Up On Him) has compared his Ahlul Bayt (Ahl al-Bayt) to Noah’s ark. Whoever loves and follows them will attain salvation and whoever violates their sanctity will drown. While holding the door of Holy Kaaba, Abu Dharr told that he had heard Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Up On Him) say, “My family among you is like Noah’s ark. He who sails in it will be safe, but he who holds back from it will perish.”

Virtues of Abu Dharr (R.A): 
Abudullah Bin Amr (R.A) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no one more truthful , that the sky has shared and the earth has carried , than Abu Dharr” (Hasan) Jami Tirmidhi 3801

SAYING ‘ALAIHISSALAM’ FOR THE IMAMS OF AHLUL BAYTH :
Understanding of the salaf:
