1-AAP ALAIHISSALAM KA ILMI MAQAAM WA MARTABA

1. “Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam se riwayat hai ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Mai Hikmat ka Ghar hun aur Ali Uska Darwaza hai.”

2. “Hazrat Abdullah ibne Abbas RadiAllahu Anhuma bayan karte hain ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Mai ilm ka Shehar hun aur Ali Uska Darwaza hai. Lihaza jo is Shehar me daakhil hona chahta hai usey chahiye ke wo darwaze se aaye.” Is Hadees ko Imam Hakim ne riwayat kiya hai aur kaha Ye Hadees Sahih ul Isnaad hai.

3. “Hazrat Jabir ibne Abdullah RadiAllahu Anhuma bayan karte hain ke Maine Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ko farmate hue suna: Mai ilm ka Shehar hun aur Ali Uska darwaza hai. Lihaza jo koi ilm haasil karne ka irada rakhta hai usey chahiye ke wo is darwaze se aaye.”
Is Hadees ko Imam Hakim aur Tabrani ne riwayat kiya hai.

4. “Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam farmate hain: Mai Quran ki har Aayat ke baareme jaanta hun ke wo kiske baare, kis jagah aur kis par naazil hui, beshak Mere Rab ne Mujhe bahot zyada samajh waala Dil aur faseeh Zuban ata farmayi hai.”

5. “Hazrat Abdullah ibne Muhammad ibne Umar ibne Ali ibne Abi Talib (RadiAllahu Anhum) Apne Waalid se riwayat karte hain ke Hazrat Ali RadiAllahu Anhu se pucha gaya ke kya wajah hai ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ke Sahaba me se Aap kasrat se Ahadees riwayat karne waale hain? To Aapne jawab me irshad farmaya: Ke iski wajah ye hai ke jab Mai Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam se koi sawal karta tha to Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam Mujhe uska jawab irshad farma dete they aur jab Mai khamosh hota to Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam Mujhse Baat shuru farma dete they.”

6. “Hazrat Abu Tufayl RadiAllahu Anhu riwayat karte hain ke Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam ne farmaya: Mujhse Kitabullah ke baareme sawaal karo pas beshak koi bhi Aayat aisi nahi hai jiske baareme Mai ye na jaanta hun ke Wo din ko naazil hui ya raat ko, pahaad me Naazil hui ya maidan me.”

2-SAHABA-E-KIRAM RADIALLAHU ANHUM ME SABSE BEHTAR FAISLA KARNE WAALE

1. “Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam se marvi hai ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Mujhe Yaman ki taraf Qaazi banakar bheja. Mai arz guzzar hua: Ya RasoolAllah! Aap Mujhe bhej rahe hain jabke Mai nau-umr hun aur faisla karne ka bhi Mujhe ilm nahi.Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Beshak Allah Ta’ala ankareeb Tumhare Dil ko Hidayat ata kardega aur Tumhari Zubaan uspar qaayam kardega. Jab bhi fariqain Tumhare saamne baith jaayen to jaldi se faisla na karna jab tak dusre ki baat na sun lo jaise Tumne pehle ki suni thi. Ye tariqekaar Tumhare liye faisle ko waajeh kardega. Aap bayan karte hain ke is dua ke baad Mai kabhi bhi faisla karne me shak me nahi pada.”

2. “Hazrat Ali KarramAllahu Wajhahul Kareem bayan karte hain ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Mujhe Yaman ki taraf bheja to Maine arz kiya: Ya RasoolAllah! Aap SallAllahu Alaika wa Sallam Mujhe bhej rahe hain ke Mai unke darmiyan faisla karun haalanke mai naujawan hun aur ye bhi nahi jaanta ke faisla kya hai? Pas Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Apna Dast-e-Aqdas Mere Seene pe maara fir farmaya: Ay Allah Iske dil ko Hidayat ata farma aur Iski Zubaan ko Haq par qaayam rakh. Farmaya: Iske baad Maine 2 aadmiyon ke darmiyan faisla karne me kabhi bhi shak nahi kiya.”

3. “Hazrat Abu Is-haaq RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Abdullah RadiAllahu Anhu farmaya karte they Ahle Madina me se sabse acha faisla farmane waala Ali Ibne Abi Talib RadiAllahu Anhuma Hain.”

4. “Hazrat Abdullah ibne Abbas RadiAllahu Anhuma bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Umar RadiAllahu Anhu ne farmaya: Ali Hum sabse behtar aur saaib faisla farmane waale hain aur Abi ibne Kaab Hum sabse badhkar Qaari hain.”

5. “Hazrat Abu Hurairah RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Umar Ibne Khattab RadiAllahu Anhu ne farmaya ke Hum sabse behtar faisla farmane wale Ali (RadiAllahu Anhu) hain.

6. “Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Umar RadiAllahu Anhu us naqabeel-e-hal aur mushkil masla se jisme Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam nahi hote they Allah ki panah manga karte they.”

3-FARMAN-E-NABAWI SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WA AALIHI WA SALLAM: ALI KE CHEHRE KO DEKHNA IBADAT HAI

3. “Hazrat Taleeq bin Muhammad RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke maine Hazrat Imran bin Huswayn RadiAllahu Anhu ko dekha ke wo Hazrat Ali KarramAllahu Waj-hahu ko tiktaki baandh kar dekh rahe they. Kisi ne unse pucha ke Aap aisa kyun kar rahe hain? Unhone jawab diya ke maine Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ko farmate hue suna hai ke Ali ki Taraf dekhna bhi Ibadat hai.”

4. “Hazrat Aaisha Siddiqa RadiAllahu Anha se riwayat hai ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Ali ka Zikrbhi Ibadat hai.”

5. “Hazrat Aaisha Siddiqa RadiAllahu Anha bayan karti hain ke Maine Apne Waalid Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq RadiAllahu Anhu ko dekha ke Wo kasrat se Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam ke Chehre ko dekha karte. Pas Maine Aapse pucha: Ay Abbajaan! Kya wajah hai ke Aap Kasrat se Hazrat Ali KarramAllahu Wajhahu ke Chehre ki taraf takte rehte hain? Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq RadiAllahu Anhu ne jawab diya: Ay Meri Beti! Maine Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ko farmate hue suna hai ke Ali ke Chehre ko Takna bhi Ibadat hai.”

8. “Hazrat Jabir ibne Abdullah RadiAllahu Anhuma bayan karte hain ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Ali ke Chehre ko takna Ibadat hai.”

1. “Hazrat Abdul Wahid ibne Aoun RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Hazrat Ali ibne Talib RadiAllahu Anhuma se Apne us marz me jisme Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Wafaat hui, Farmaya: Ay Ali! Jab Mai Faut hojaun to Mujhe Gusl dena to Aap RadiAllahu Anhu ne arz kiya: Ya RasoolAllah! Maine kabhi kisi mayyat ko gusl nahi diya to Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Beshak ankareeb Tu iske liye tayyar hojayega. Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam bayan karte hain: pas Maine Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ko Gusl diya.”

2. “Hazrat Aamir RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Ali aur Fazal ibne Abbas aur Usama bin Zaid RadiAllahu Anhum ne Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ko Gusl diya jab Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ko Gusl derahe they to kehte they: Ya RasoolAllah! Mere Maa Baap Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam Par Qurban Hon, Aap Wisaal farmakar aur Zinda rehkar Dono Haalaton me Paakiza they.”

3-“Hazrat Aamir RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ko Gusl derahe they aur Hazrat Fazal aur Usama RadiAllahu Anhuma ne Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam par Parda kiya hua tha.”

1. “Hazrat Saeed bin Zaid RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Ay Hira (pahaad) pursukoon raho pas beshak tukhpar Nabi hai ya Siddiq hai ya Saheed hai (aur koi nahi). 2. “Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke gazwa “Zaatul Ushaira” me Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam aur mai ek dusre ke saath they pas jab Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam us jagah aaye aur wahan qayaam farmaya, humne Banu Mudlij ke logo ko dekha ke wo ek khajoor taley Apne ek chasme me kaam karrahe hain. Hazrat Ali Alaihisslaam ne mujhe farmaya: Ay Abul Yaqzaan tumhari kya raaye hai agar hum un logo ke paas jaaye aur dekhen ke wo kya kar rahe hain? Pas hum unke paas aaye aur unke kaam kpkuch der tak dekha fir hame neend aane lagi to mai aur Hazrat Ali RadiAllahu Anhu wahan se chale aur khajooron ke darmiyan mitti par he let kar sogaye. Pas Allah ki Qasam Hame Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ke alawa kisine nahi jagaya. Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne hame Apne Mubarak Qadmon ke mas se jagaya jabke hum khoob khaak aalud hochuke they pas us din Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne Hazrat Ali Alaihisalam se farmaya: Ay Abu Turab! Fir Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Kya Mai Tumhe 2 babakht tareen aadmiyo ke naam na batau? Hamne kaha: Haan Ya RasoolAllah! Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Pehla shakhs qaum-e-samood ka ahimar tha jisne Swaleh Alaihissalam ki untni ki taange kaati thi aur dusra shkhs wo hai jo Ay Ali jo Tumhare Sar par waar karega. Yahan tak ke (khoon se ye) Daadhi tar ho jayegi.”
Is Hadees ko Imam aAhmed bin Hanbal ne Musnad me aur Imam Nasai ne “Sunan al Kubra” me riwayat kiya hai.

3. Hazrat Abdullah ibne Saba’a RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke maine Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam ko farmate hue suna ke ye Daadhi sar ke khoon se surkh hojaegi aur iska intezar ek badbakht kar raha hai. Logon ne kaha Ay Amir ul Momineen uske baareme khabar dijiye hum uski nasal ko tabah kardenge. Aap RadiAllahu Anhu ne farmaya: Allah ki Qasam tum siwaye Mere qaatil ke kisiko qatal nahi karoge. Unhone kaha: Humpar kisiko Khalifa muqarrar karden. Aapne farmaya: nahi, lekin Mai usi cheez ki taraf chodta hun jiski taraf Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne choda (yaani bahmi mushawarat). Unhone kaha Aap Apne Rab se kya kahenge jab Aap Uske paas jayenge. Aapne farmaya: Mai kahunga “Ay Allah Tune jitna arsa Chaha Mujhe unme baaqi rakha fir Tune Mujhe Apne paas bula liya, lekin Tu unme Baaqi hai agar Tu Chahe to unki islaah farma de aur agar Tu Chahe to unme bigaad paida karde.”

4. “Hazrat Abdullah ibne Saba’a RadiAllahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam ne ek din hame Khutba diya aur farmaya: Us Zaat ki Qasam Jisne daane ko phada aur makhlooqat ko zinadgi ata farmayi, Ye Daadhi zarur biz zarur khoon se khajaab ki jayegi (yaani Meri Daadhi Mere Sar ke Khoon se
Surkh hojaegi) raawi bayan karte hain ke logo ne kaha pas Aap hame bata den wo kaun hai? Ham uski nasl mita denga. Aap Alaihissalam ne farmaya: Mai tumhe Allah ki Qasam deta hun ke Mere qaatil ke alawa kisiko qatal na kiya jaaye. Logo ne kaha agar Aap ye jaante hain to kisiko Khalifa muqarrar karden, Aapne farmaya: Nahi lekin Mai tumhe wo chiz sonpta hun jo Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne tumhe sonpi (yaani baahmi mushawarat se Khalifa muqarrar karo).”

5. “Hazrat Abu Tufayl bayan karte hain ke Hazrat Ali Alaihissalam ne logo ko baiyat ki daawat di to abdur Rehman bin muljim muradi aaya pas Aap RadiAllahu Anhu ne 2 dafa usko wapas bhej diya, jab wo tessri martaba aaya to Aap RadiAllahu Anhu ne farmaya: is badbakht ko kaun rokega? Fir farmaya: Zarur biz zarur is (daadhi ko) khajaab kiya jaega ya khoon se ranga jaega yaani Sar ke khoon se Meri Daadhi sukh hogi, fir Aapne ye 2 sher padhe:”
Tu Maut Keliye Kamar Basta Ho
Beshak Maut Tujhe Aane Waali Hai
Aur Qatal Se Khaufzada Na Ho
Jab Wo Teri Waadi Me Utar Aaye.
“Khuda ki Qasam ye Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ka Mere saath Ahad hai.”

Durod o Salam ki Importance

The reason behind appointing Spiritual Leaders in form of Prophets within different nations by Allah SWT has always been the same, i.e. to being people towards remembrance of One God and living a life of righteousness. All the previous Messengers were chosen for specific peoples, but Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ holds distinction in this regard to have been sent for the whole humankind. The Almighty Lord presented Him with the Holy Quran, which serves as a great source of enlightenment in every walk of life. As the entire world population is benefited through the Holy Prophet ﷺ that is why God, the Exalted says in Furqan e Hameed:

The above mentioned Ayah illustrates that the Most Merciful Himself bestows His favors upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and His Angels also constantly ask Him to so. In this way, Allah SWT urges and directs all the believers also to ask Him to award Rasulullah ﷺ from His Blessings and Tranquility.

This act of asking the Gracious God to grant the Apostle ﷺ with His Favor and Protection is commonly known as “Durood” (Persian) or “As-Salatu alan-n-Nabi” (Arabic), both of which literally mean “prayer”. So, it is basically a form of an entreaty, which all the Muslims are obligated to say on hearing, reading or speaking the name of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in order to pay Him homage in the most rightful manner. It is also the way of fulfilling one`s religious duty of adoring Rasulullah ﷺ as Anas (R.A) has narrated:

“None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind.” (Bukhari)

This Hadith shows that a true disciple of Islam needs to feel affection for the Messenger ﷺ of Allah more than anything else in the world, and that right of Prophet ﷺ could only be fulfilled through adhering to His Sunnah and recalling and venerating His name all the time.

Significance-OF-Durood

Importance of “As-Salatu Alan-n-Nabi”

As, Durood is a form of prayer to the Almighty Lord that is done for the sake of increase in Favors and Clemency on the Holy Prophet ﷺ, so it occupies a great place in the life of a Muslim. Its huge significance can be observed in the following description:

1.       Accomplishment Of The Religious Obligation

Durood e Pak is one of the highly valued forms of invocation in the Religion of Peace. It is because Allah SWT Himself sends His Blessings on the Holy Prophet ﷺ, His Angels too ask the Almighty to bless Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. But when Muslims perform this deed, it brings them closer to the Exalted One and His Messenger ﷺ by accomplishing their sacred duty.

2.       Being Part of Compulsory Prayers

The enormous status of this Divine action can be seen from the fact that it has even been incorporated in daily mandatory Salah, without which the completion of Namaz is impossible. This incantation presented on the Holy Prophet ﷺ which is recited by each Muslim during every prayer is called Durood e Ibrahimi:

“O Allah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious”.

It is a means of testifying that one truly believes in the instructions put forward by the Messenger ﷺ of Allah which is done through sending blessings on Him with Hazrat Ibrahim A.S. Since the Message of uprightness came forward through Prophet Ibrahim A.S, (the Ancestor of Rasulullah ﷺ), and through His virtue, Muslims have got their Kaaba and pray in its direction, the Apostle ﷺ of God Himself approves above Durood in the following Hadith:

Narrated Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila: Ka’b bin Ujrah met me and said, “Shall I not give you a present I got from the Prophet?” ‘Abdur-Rahman said, “Yes, give it to me.” I said, “We asked Allah’s Apostle saying, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! How should one (ask Allah to) send blessings on you, the members of the family, for Allah has taught us how to salute you (in the prayer)?’ He said, ‘Say: O Allah! Send Your Mercy on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your Mercy on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah! Send Your Blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent your Blessings on Abraham and on the family of Abraham, for You are the Most Praise-worthy, the Most Glorious.’“ (Bukhari)

It means that Durood e Ibrahimi is the essential part of Islamic belief being a necessary element in daily Salah.

3.     Completion Of The Prophet`s PBUH Right

Abu Hurairah (R.A) reported that the Messengerﷺ of Allah said:

“May his nose soil with dust in whose presence mention is made of me and he does not supplicate for me.”(Tirmidhi)

1.      Closeness To The Holy Prophet PBUH On the Final Day

Hazrat Abdullah ibn Ma’sud (R.A) narrates that Sayyidina Rasulullah ﷺ said:

“On the day of Qiyamah the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood unto me.” (Tirmidhi)

Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As (R.A) reported: I heard the Messenger ﷺ of Allah saying:

“Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt for me, Allah would exalt him ten times.”(Muslim)

It means that carrying out of Durood e Pak brings about elevation in a Muslim`s rank near Allah SWT by ten times.

In short, Durood e Pak is solely done for asking Allah SWT to bestow His Blessings and Mercy on His Messenger ﷺ in order to show one`s reverence and gratitude for Rasulullah`s ﷺ services to the Religion of Islam.
