. According to Abu Sa’id al-Khudri :
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘al-Waseela
(intermediation) is the supreme position near Allah 9. Nothing is
more superior than that position. Therefore, Pray to Allah the
Almighty, for bestowing me al-Waseela.’”
According to Abu Hurayra :
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Recite salutations (al- Salawat) on me, the salutation on me is the charity for you. Pray
to Allah 9 the Almighty, for bestowing me al-Waseela.’ They
said: ‘What is al-Waseela, O Messenger of Allah ?’ He said: ‘A
very high rank in paradise. No one can reach that except one
man, and I hope am that man.’”
Reported by Ibn Abi Shaybah, Abu Ya’la. al-Haythami said; ‘It
is narrated by al-Bazzar. The chain of transmission includes Daw’ud b.
U’lba; according to Imam Ibn al-Numair, he is a reliebale narrator.
