Whilst scientific truths are very regularly questioned and abandoned, the truths in the Quran are permanent and unchangeable.
“Read: In the name of your Lord Who creates, creates man from a clot. Read: And your Lord is the Most Bounteous, Who teaches by the use of the pen, teaches man that which he knew not.” Quran 96:105
The Quran, itself, as seen by some eminent scholars, is so rich depository of science, prompting Bucaille to state that knowledge of science of an `encyclopaedic’ range is needed to assess such vast scientific wealth.(endnote 19) Bucaille also states that whilst the Quran contains so much of the scientific, it is also impossible for the scientist to find inconsistencies in it, in contradiction of science. And whilst scientific truths are very regularly questioned, and abandoned, the truths in the Quran are permanent and unchangeable. Thus it is said under the heading Verses Containing General Statements are verses that are intended to lead `man to meditate on the Beneficence of God towards His creatures,’ and include also statements that are relevant to modern science. Thus in:
(sura 2, verse 22):
“(God) is the One who made the earth a couch for you and the heavens an edifice, and sent down water from the sky. He brought forth therewith fruits for your sustenance. Do not join equals with God when you know.”(sura 2, verse 164):
“Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth,
In the disparity of night and day,
In the ship which runs upon the sea for the profit of mankind,
In the water which God sent down from the sky thereby reviving the earth after its death,
In the beasts of all kinds He scatters therein,
In the change of the winds and the subjected clouds between the sky and earth,
Here are Signs for people who are wise.”(sura 13, verse 3):
“(God) is the One who spread out the earth and set therein mountains standing firm and rivers. For every fruit He placed two of a pair. He covers the day with the night. Verily in this there are Signs for people who reflect.”(sura 20, verses 53 and 54):
“(God is) the One Who has made for you the earth like a cradle and inserted roads into it for you. He sent water down from the sky and thereby We brought forth pairs of plants, each separate from the other. Eat! Pasture your cattle! Verily in this are Signs for people endued with intelligence.”(sura 79, verses 30-33):
“After that (God) made the earth into a spheroid. Therefrom He drew out its water and its pasture. And the mountains He has anchored. Goods for you and for your cattle.”
In these verses is shown the role and benefit of water in sustaining life on earth. The reference in the Qur’an however, as is pointed out by the author, goes far beyond this geographical detail.
“According to scientific knowledge the character the Earth has of a planet that is rich in water is unique to the solar system, and this is exactly what is highlighted in the Qur’an. Without water, the Earth would be a dead planet like the Moon. The Qur’an gives first place to water among the natural phenomena of the Earth that it refers to. The water cycle is described with remarkable accuracy in the Qur’an. When the verses of the Qur’an concerning the role of water in man’s existence are read in succession today. they all appear to us to express ideas that are quite obvious. The reason for this is simple: in our day and age, we all, to a lesser or greater extent, know about the water cycle in nature.”

One supplication which covers it all
Umama (Allah be well-pleased with her) said, “The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and give him peace, made many supplications which we did not remember at all. We said, ‘Messenger of Allah, you have made many supplications which we do not remember at all.’ He said, ‘Shall I tell something which will contain all of them for you? You should say: “O Allah, I ask You for the good for which Your Prophet Muhammad, Allah bless him and give him peace, asked You and I seek refuge from the evil from which Your Prophet Muhammad, Allah bless him and give him peace, sought refuge. You are the One who is asked for help and it is only You who can transmit it. There is no power nor strength except by Allah.” [Tirmidhi]

Who is an Ideal Muslimah ?

How to be an Ideal Muslim Wife
1. USE YOUR ‘FITNAH’ (BEAUTY AND OVERTURES OF ALLUREMENT) TO WIN THE HEART OF YOUR HUSBAND.
All women have the ornaments that Allah blessed them with. Use the beauty Allah – Azza wa Jal – has bestowed you with to win the heart of your husband.
2. WHEN YOUR HUSBAND COMES HOME, GREET HIM WITH A WONDERFUL GREETING.
Imagine your husband coming home to a clean house, an exquisitely dressed wife, a dinner prepared with care, children clean and sweet smelling, a clean bedroom – what would this do to his love for you? Now imagine what the opposite does to him.
3. REVIEW THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HOOR AL-AYN AND TRY TO IMITATE THEM
The Qur’an and Sunnah describe the women in Jannah with certain characteristics. Such as the silk they wear, their large dark eyes, their singing to their husband, etc. Try it, wear silk for your husband, put Kohl in your eyes to ‘enlarge’ them, and sing to your husband.
4. ALWAYS WEAR JEWELLERY AND DRESS UP IN THE HOUSE.
From the early years, little girls have adorned themselves with earrings and bracelets and worn pretty dresses – as described in the Qur’an. As a wife, continue to use the jewellery that you have and the pretty dresses for your husband.
5. JOKE AND PLAY GAMES WITH YOUR HUSBAND.
A mans secret: they seek women who are light-hearted and have a sense of humour. As Rasul Allah – sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam – told Jabir to marry someone who would make him laugh and he would make her laugh.
6. THANK YOUR HUSBAND CONSTANTLY FOR THE NICE THINGS HE DOES. THEN THANK HIM AGAIN.
This is one of the most important techniques, as the opposite is a characteristic of the women of hellfire.
7. AN ARGUMENT IS A FIRE IN THE HOUSE. EXTINGUISH IT WITH A SIMPLE ‘I’M SORRY’ EVEN IF IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT.
When you fight back, you are only adding wood to the fire. Watch how sweetly an argument will end when you just say sincerely, “Look, I’m sorry. Let’s be friends.”
8. ALWAYS SEEK TO PLEASE YOUR HUSBAND, FOR HE IS YOUR KEY TO JANNAH.
Rasul Allah – sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam – taught us that any women who dies in a state where her husband is pleased with her, shall enter Jannah. So .. please him.
9. LISTEN AND OBEY!
Obeying your husband is Fard! Your husband is the Ameer of the household. Give him that right and respect.
10. MAKE DUA TO ALLAH TO MAKE YOUR MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIP SUCCESSFUL.
All good things are from Allah. Never forget to ask Allah ta’ala for the blessing of having a successful marriage that begins in this Dunya and continues on – by the Mercy of Allah ta’ala – into Jannah.
May Allah crown the efforts of our wives with Jannah. Aameen
Du’a to say when you are in distress
The Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) would say when in distress, “There is no deity but Allah, the Knowing, the Clement. There is no deity but Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no deity but Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of the Noble Throne.” [Bukhari]

13 Hardcore Truths About Marriage that will help you

The following salient points are some of the hard core realities about marriage;
1. Marriage flourishes when the couple works together as a team; when both husband and wife decide that winning together is more important than keeping score. Good marriages don’t just happen. They are a product of hard work.
2. Your children are watching you and forming lasting opinions on love, commitment, and marriage based on what they see in you. Give them hope. Make them look forward to marriage.
3. Husbands: The reason why other women look attractive is because someone is taking good care of them. Grass is always green where it is watered. Instead of drooling over the green grass on the other side of the fence, work on yours and water it regularly. Any man can admire a beautiful woman, but it takes a true gentleman to make a woman admirable and beautiful.
4. When a husband puts his wife first above everyone and everything except ALLAH, it gives his wife the sense of security and honour that every wife hungers for.
5. A successful marriage doesn’t require a big house, a prefect spouse, a million dollars or an expensive car. You can have all the above and still have a miserable marriage. A successful marriage requires honesty, undying commitment, care, sincere feelings and selfless love and ALLAH at the center of it all.
6. Pray for your spouse every day; in the morning, in the afternoon and at evening. Don’t wait until there is a problem. Don’t wait until there is an affair. Don’t wait until something bad happens. Don’t wait until your spouse is tempted. Shield your spouse with dua and cover your marriage with the fence & roof of dua.
7. The people you surround yourself with have a lot of influence on your marriage. Friends can build or break your marriage; choose them wisely.
8. One spouse cannot build a marriage alone when the other spouse is committed to destroying it. Marriage works when both husband and wife work together as a team to build their marriage.
9. Don’t take your spouse for granted. Don’t take advantage of your spouse’s meekness and goodness. Don’t mistake your spouse’s loyalty for desperation. Don’t misuse or abuse yours spouse’s trust. You may end up regretting after losing someone that meant so much to you.
10. Beware of marital advice from single people. Regardless of how sincere their advice may be, most of it is theoretical and not derived from real life experiences. If you really need Godly advice, seek it from God-fearing, impartial and prayerful mature couples whose resolve has been tested by time and shaped by trials.
11. Dear wife, Don’t underestimate the power of the tongue on your marriage. The tongue has the power to crush your marriage or build it up. Don’t let the devil use your tongue to kill your spouse’s image, self-confidence and aspirations. Let ALLAH use your tongue to build up your marriage and bless and praise your spouse.
12.COMMUNICATION is the KEY to everything.
Talk it out
OWN up to your mistakes
Help others with theirs
Note that it is easier to forgive a wrong doing than a lie.
13.Let your spouse be your best friend,
Marriage without friendship is like a Bird without wings, how will it fly?
May Allah guide us all.
