Mafhum-e-Hadith > Bachchey ki surat ka walid ya walida ki surat se milna
Anas Radi-Allahu-Anhu se rivayat hai ki Rasoollallah Sallallhu-Alaihi-Wasallam ne farmaya
Mard ki mani gaadi aur safed hoti hai aurat ki mani zard aur patli hoti hai jo koi ek dusrey se sabqat le jaye (yani jiski mani pahely nikal jaye) to bachcha usi ki shakal ka paida hota hai

Jab Aurat ka nutfa mard ke nutfey par ghalib ho to bachcha apne nanihal ki mushabeh hota hai
Aur jab mard ka nutfa aurat ke nutfey par ghalib ho to bachcha dadihaal par parhta hai

Narrated by Anas may ALLAH be pleased with him The Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him said: The man’s water is thick and white, and the women’s water is thin and yellow. Whichever of them comes first, the child will resemble (that father or mother). (Sahih)

It is reported on the authority of ‘A’isha that Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said when the genes contributed by woman prevail upon those of man, the child resembles the maternal family, and when the genes of man prevail upon those of woman the child resembles the paternal family.
