“AYAT-E-ABRAAR”

In Surah Ad Dahr, verse 7 until 22:

يُوْفُوْنَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَ يَخَافُوْنَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًا (3)

“They fulfil their vows, and fear a day; the evil of which is wide-spread.”

Hadrat Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas Radi Allahu Anhuma narrates: “One day Hadrat Imam Hasan and Hadrat Imam Husain Radi Allahu Anhuma became very ill. The blessed Ashaab, in the company of the Holy Prophet Sallal Laahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam, then went to visit them. Some of the Ashaab mentioned to Hadrat Sayyiduna ‘Ali Radi Allahu Anhu, ‘O ‘Ali! Make a Nazr (vow).’ Hadrat Sayyiduna ‘Ali Radi Allahu ‘Anhu then made a vow that if his two sons became well, he and his wife, Sayyidah Fathima Radi Allahu Anha will keep three fast. Allah azza wajal then blessed them with good health and Hadrat Sayyiduna ‘Ali Radi Allahu ‘Anhu then started to keep the three fast with his wife.

At the same time, there are many verses in the Holy Qur’an which describes the greatness of the Ahle Bayt. However, we will present a few verses and a short explanation to each verse so that the treatise does not become too lengthy.
