“Ḥaz̤rat Walīd bin Dīnar, Sayyidinā Imām Ḥasan raḍiya Allāhu ‘anhu se riwāyat karte haiṅ keh Un se sawāl kiyā gayā keh par̥osī se kyā murād hai (jise bhūkā nah răhne dene kā ḥukm hai) Āp ne farmāyā: chālīs⁴⁰ ghar sāmne, chālīs⁴⁰ ghar pīc̥he, chālīs⁴⁰ ghar dā’eṅ aur chālīs⁴⁰ ghar bā’eṅ.”

Ḥuz̤ūr Nabīye Akram ṣallá Allāhu ‘alayhi wa-Ālihi wa-sallam ne irshād farmāyā:
“Woh shaḳhṣ hargiz Momin nahīṅ ho saktā jo ḳhẉud to pet̥ bhar kar so’e aur us kā par̥osī bhūkā ho.”

“Sayyidah ʻĀ’ishah raḍiya Allāhu ‘anhā farmāti hain keh maiṅ ne ʻarz̤ kī yā Rasūl Allāh! mere do par̥osī haiṅ to maiṅ păhle tŏḥfah kise dūṅ? Āp ṣallá Allāhu ‘alayhi wa-Ālihi wa-sallam ne farmāyā: jis kā darwāzah tumhāre ghar ke qarīb hai.”

Sayyidinā Mawlá ʻAlī karrama Allāhu waj·hahu al-Karīm irshād farmāte haiṅ:
“Allāh Taʻālá ne māldāroṅ par un ke sarmāya’e daulat meṅ is qadr infāq farz̤ kiyā hai jis se un ke muʻāshare ke z̤arūrat-mandoṅ kī hājāt pūrī ho jā’eṅ.”

Ḥuz̤ūr Nabīye Akram ṣallá Allāhu ‘alayhi wa-Ālihi wa-sallam ne irshād farmāyā:
“Tum Mo’minīn ko āpas meṅ mehrbānī, shafqat aur luṭf-o karam meṅ aise dekhoge jaise ko’ī jism keh jab us meṅ kisī ek ʻuz̤w ko taklīf hotī hai to sārā jism (taklīf meṅ mubtalā ho kar) be-ḳhwābī aur būkhār ko daʻwat detā hai.”

Ḥuz̤ūr Nabīye Akram ṣallá Allāhu ‘alayhi wa-Ālihi wa-sallam ne irshād farmāyā:
“Woh Momin nahīṅ jis ne ḳhẉud to shikam ser ho kar rāt basar kī aur us kā hamsāyah bhūkā rahā.”

Ḥaz̤rat ʻUmar ibn Ḳhaṭṭāb raḍiya Allāhu ‘anhu ne farmāyā:
“Ḳhudā kī qasam! Agar Allāh Taʻālá qăḥṭ rafʻa nah farmātā to maiṅ ko’ī bhī aisā ghar nah c̥hor̥tā jis meṅ khānā maujūd hotā, magar us ke afrād ke barābar dīgar mustaḥiqīn aur mŏḥtājoṅ ko us meṅ ḥukman dāḳhil kar detā. Kyoṅ-keh ek shaḳhṣ kā khanā yaqīnan do afrād ko halāk hone se bachā letā hai.”

Ḥuz̤ūr Nabīye Akram ṣallá Allāhu ‘alayhi wa-Ālihi wa-sallam ne irshād farmāyā:
“Jis ke pās z̤arūrat se zā’id sawārī hai woh use laut̥ā de jis ke pās z̤arūrat kī sawārī nahīṅ. Jis ke pās z̤arūrat se zā’id khānā aur sāmān hai woh us ke de de jis ke pāṣ z̤arūrat kā khānā nahīṅ. Isī ṭarḥ Ḥuz̤ūr Nabīye Akram ṣallá Allāhu ‘alayhi wa-Ālihi wa-sallam ne mutaʻaddid aṣnāfe māl kā z̲ikr farmāyā. Ḥattá keh ham ne gumān kiyā keh zā’id az z̤arūrat kisī shai meṅ bhī hamārā ḥaqq nahīṅ hai.”

Ibn Ḥazm Ḥaz̤rat Abū Saʻīd Ḳhudrī raḍiya Allāhu ‘anhu kī maz̲kūrah riwāyat par beḥs̲ karte huwe likhte haiṅ:
“Is bāt par Ṣaḥābah kā ijmāʻ hai keh agar ko’ī shaḳhṣ bhūkā naṅgā yā z̤arūriīyāte rahā’ish se măḥrūm hai to māldāroṅ ke fāz̤ile māl se us kī kafālat karnā farz̤ hai.”
