Bismillahi Rahmano Raheem
Death is the beginning of real life, eternal life. in fact death is a birth to the real world (Akhirath)
There are so many misunderstanding about dead people. People who claim to be Muslims, but possess materialistic beliefs think that death is end of life and there is nothing after death until resurrection time (Judgement day), even though this jahils (ignorant) claim they belief in life in the grave!
Imam Ibn Kathir (rah) endorsing Tawassul in tafsir of above verse:
Jama’at (Many scholars) have stated this tradition. One of them is Abu Mansur al-Sabbagh who writes in his book Al-Shamil Al-Hikayat-ul-mashhurah that, according to ‘Utbi, once he was sitting beside the Prophet’s grave when a bedouin came and he said, “Peace be on you, O Allah’s Messenger. I have heard that Allah says: ‘(O beloved!) And if they had come to you, when they had wronged their souls, and asked forgiveness of Allah, and the Messenger also had asked forgiveness for them, they (on the basis of this means and intercession) would have surely found Allah the Granter of repentance, extremely Merciful.’ I have come to you, asking forgiveness for my sins and I make you as my intermediary before my Lord and I have come to you for this purpose.” Then he recited these verses: “O, the most exalted among the buried people who improved the worth of the plains and the hillocks! May I sacrifice my life for this grave which is made radiant by you, (the Prophet,) the one who is (an embodiment) of mercy and forgiveness.” Then the bedouin went away and I fell asleep. In my dream I saw the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). He said to me: O ‘Utbi, the bedouin is right, go and give him the good news that Allah has forgiven his sins. [Ibn Kathir, Tafsir-ul-Qur’an al-azim Volume 004, Page No. 140, Under the Verse 4:64]
From Sahih Muslim:
Dead Can Hear:
Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, “When a human being is laid in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their foot steps, two angels come to him and make him sit and ask him: What did you use to say about this man, Muhammad ? He will say: I testify that he is Allah’s slave and His Apostle. Then it will be said to him, ‘Look at your place in the Hell-Fire. Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it.’ ” The Prophet added, “The dead person will see both his places. But a non-believer or a hypocrite will say to the angels, ‘I do not know, but I used to say what the people used to say! It will be said to him, ‘Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by reciting the Quran).’ Then he will be hit with an iron hammer between his two ears, and he will cry and that cry will be heard by whatever approaches him except human beings and jinns.” (Book #23, Hadith #422)
Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet looked at the people of the well (the well in which the bodies of the pagans killed in the Battle of Badr were thrown) and said, “Have you found true what your Lord promised you?” Somebody said to him, “You are addressing dead people.” He replied, “You do not hear better than they but they cannot reply.” (Sahih Muslim Book #23, Hadith #452)
Narrated ‘Aisha: The Prophet said, “They now realize that what I used to tell them was the truth. “And Allah said, ‘Verily! You cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them, and similarly the disbelievers) nor can you make the deaf hear. (27.80). (Book #23, Hadith #453)
MOURNING FOR THE DEAD:
Some Jahils say, mourning for the dead for 3 days 40 days etc are Bidha!
But what is forbidden is given in the hadith below:
Narrated Zainab bint Abi Salama: When the news of the death of Abu Sufyan reached from Sham, Um Habiba on the third day, asked for a yellow perfume and scented her cheeks and forearms and said, “No doubt, I would not have been in need of this, had I not heard the Prophet saying: “It is not legal for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for more than three days for any dead person except her husband, for whom she should mourn for four months and ten days.” (Book #23, Hadith #370)
Narrated Zainab bint Abi Salama : I went to Um Habiba, the wife of Prophet, who said, “I heard the Prophets saying, ‘It is not legal for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for any dead person for more than three days except for her husband, (for whom she should mourn) for four months and ten days’.” Later I went to Zainab bint Jahsh when her brother died; she asked for some scent, and after using it she said, “I am not in need of scent but I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, ‘It is not legal for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for more than three days for any dead person except her husband, (for whom she should mourn) for four months and ten days.’ ” (Book #23, Hadith #371)
Only for Women it is forbidden to mourn for more than three days, except for her husband!
Then whom Jahil Shayateen trying to fool?, not us, but they fool themselves with their counterfeit Islam!
DEATH OF PROPHET (alaihiswalathu wa salam) and pious ones:
Quran 2:154 And say not of those who are killed in the Way of Allah, “They are dead.” Nay, they are living, but you perceive (it) not.
Wahhabis claim they perceive Allah directly, but they are not perceiving the living ones in the grave!
According to Hadiths and Quran The Prophets and Martyrs being alive in the grave.
We sent not the Messenger, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come to the Messenger and asked Allah’s forgiveness, and the Messenger had (also) asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful.(Al-Qur’an, Surah an-Nisa, 4:64)
Remember Quran and Prophet is for whole Ummat till Qiyamah..not particular time or period
Sayyeda Ayesha Siddiqua (ra).. She says ..
When the Holy Prophet (saw) and my father Abu-Bakr’s graves were in my House, I used to visit the graves without shaal (Hijaab) because they were my Husband & father. But when Umar (ra) was burried there, I swear, I never entered there without Hijaab because of Haya (modesty). Ahmad bin Hanbal, Al-musnad 6: 202
Haakim, Al-mustadrak, 3:61 .. 4402
SO ARE THE ALL DEAD EQUAL ????
The salam can not be said to dead people. Its only said to the one who can listens it. Neither the Hijaab can be made from dead people because Hijaab is only essential for a Na-Mehram who can see a Muslim Lady. Above practice of Umm-ul-momineen Ayesha Siddiqua (ra) expresses her views and faith that Umar was not dead like others rather he was able to see and listen even in grave.
That’s why ALLAH JJ says about Martyrs, “Do not even think they are dead, rather they are alive, they are given food by Allah, (Aal-Imran 3 : 169 )”
So if this is the rank of Martyrs what would be the Ranks of most beloved Prophets and Awliyas in ALLAH’s sight!!! So dont please your ego by repeating the teachings which none of your ansecrtos never ever say. Wake up!!!
