HIS TEACHINGS

HIS TEACHINGS

The Prophet Muhammad commanded the good and forbade the evil. The following are some of his teachings:

One of the Prophet’s Companions 99 I said: “God’s Prophet took (a pledge) from us as he took from the women that we will not associate any partners with God and we will not steal, and we will not commit adultery, and we will not kill our children, and we will not bring calumny upon one another.

According to another Companion, the Prophet you observe your five times of prayer, fast during your month of Ramaḍān, pay the Zakat on your properties and obey him who has a right to issue commands to you, you will enter your Lord’s Paradise.” said: “If 99 2

He also said: “Feed the hungry, visit the ailing and release the one in captivity (by paying his ransom).”³

And: “By Him in Whose Hand my soul is! You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you shall not believe until you love one another. May I inform you of something, if you do, you love each other? Promote the greeting of peace amongst you”.From his teachings, is his statement: “A Muslim is a brother to a Muslim. He should neither deceive him nor lie to him, nor leave him without assistance. Everything belonging to a Muslim is inviolable for a Muslim; his honour, his blood and property. Piety is here (and he pointed to his chest thrice). It is enough for a Muslim to commit evil by despising his Muslim brother. ”
