His Birth and blessings

The 4th Imam after Imam Hussain(a.s.) was his son Imam Ali Zain-al-Abideen(a.s.). His mother was Bibi Shahar Bano who was a princess from Persia, the daughter of the Kind Yazd Gard II. She was brought as a prisoner of war during the caliphate period of mam Ali(a.s.) during 31 A.H. and Imam Ali(a.s.) got her freed and married her to Imam Hussain(a.s.). Imam Zain-al-Abideen was born from this wedlock. She, however, died within 10 days of the birth of Imam Sajjad(a.s.).

His title Zain-al-Abideen was granted to him by the Holy Prophet(pbuh&hf) himself who mentioned that on the day of judgement a call for Zain-al-Abideen will be made and my son Ali bin al-Hussain(a.s.) will responde to the call saying “Labbaik”. His other Title, Syed-us-Sajideen, was given because of his devotion to prayers. He would pray for long durations specially during the nights and would pray a lot of prayers of gratitude – Namaz-e-Shukrana.

Imam Sajjad(a.s.) spent the first 2 years of his life under the care of his grandfater Imam Ali(a.s.) and after his death in 50 A.H., he was brought up under the care of the 2nd Imam Hasan(a.s.). Imam Sajjad(a.s.) was married to the Bibi Fatima(a.s.) – daughter of Imam Hasan(a.s.). Imam Hasan(a.s.) was martyred in 50 A.H. and the Imamate of Imam Hussain(a.s.) started which terminated on 10th Moharram 61 A.H. from where the Imamate of Imam Sajjad(a.s.) began.

Period of Imamate and events of Karbala

Imam Sajjad(a.s.) was about 22 or 23 years old when the sad event of Karbala occured. Since Allah(swt) mentions in his holy Book that this world cannot survive for a moment if there is no Masoom “Imam” present at all times, Allah(swt) arranged it such that Imam Sajjad(a.s.) became severly ill during that battle and could not participate as a warrior. He asked the permission to fight in the battle but Imam Hussain(a.s.) told him that he had been assigned a different type of “Jihad” that was to start after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain(a.s.) – namely leading the women and children of the household of Prophet Mohammad(pbuh&hf) into the bazars and courts of Kufa and Damascus. Imam Sajjad(a.s.) was made a prisoner of war together with the whole family of the Prophet Mohammad(pbuh&hf). It was at this time that he was given the responsibility of Imamate and his was one of the most difficult times when any Imam was given this responsibility. Truly speaking, for him, it would have been very easy to die on the battle field as a martyr than to be taken as prisoner of war and see all the insult and humiliations thrown on him and on the womenfolk of the house of the Prophet. However, he did what Allah wished him to do

After the martyrdom of Imam Hussain(a.s.), the survival of Islam depended on Imam Zainul Abideen(a.s.), and that also at a tender age of 22. He had a very hard job of letting the world know the mission of Imam Hussain(a.s.) and exposing the evil intentions of Yazid and the Bani Umayyah. He had to keep the message of Islam alive and save it from being confused by the evil Bani Umayyah.

The army of Yazid treated him very badly by putting him in heavy chains. As a prisoner of war, he was made to travel on the open back of a camel in burning sunshine from Kerbala to Kufa and then from Kufa to Shaam (Damascus) – a distance of about 750 kilometres. Sometimes, he would be made to walk on the burning sands of the desert. This was not all. Women and children of the family of the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh&hf), too, were hand-cuffed and treated like they were slaves. The daughters of Imam Ali(a.s.) and Bibi Fatima(s.a.) were treated worse than criminals, their Hijabs were taken away from them. A caller accompanied them introducing them to the passersbys as “Those who had disobeyed the Muslim ruler, Yazid”. They were then presented as prisoners, first to Ibn-e-Ziyad in Kufa and then to Yazid in Damascus.

In the courts of Ibn-e-Ziyad and Yazid, Imam Sajjad(a.s.) gave lion-hearted lectures and presented the true Islam to the listeners and introduced himself and his accompanying members as the descendents of the Prophet Mohammad(pbuh&hf) and the leaders appointed by Allah(swt). His lectures had such an impact on the listeners that despite several attempts to kill him inside the court of both Yazid and Ibn-e-Ziyad could not materialize. Bibi Zainab(s.a.) and other women of the household of Prophet Mohammad(pbuh&hf) became the frontline protectors and were backed by the people in the court of Yazid who had still left some shame in them.

To quote one incidence, Yazid asked one of his employed preachersto go on the ‘Mimber’ (pulpit) of the Mosque and abused Imam Ali(a.s.) and his family. When the preacher finished his lecture, Imam Sajjad(a.s.) turned to him and said, “Be ashamed of yourself, you evil speaker. With your words you have displeased Allah so as to please people”. Then the Imam(a.s.) asked Yazid to let him talk to the people. Yazid refused to do so. The people of Syria, however, forced Yazid to allow the Imam to go on the Mimber.

Once on the Mimber, Imam Zain al-Abideen(a.s.) first praised Allah(swt) and His Messenger(pbuh&hf). After that the Imam gave along and very powerful speech letting the Syrians know the great position of Imam Husain(a.s.) to Allah(swt), and how evil Yazid and his family were. Part of the speech is summarised below:

“O listeners Allah has given us (Ahle Bart) six things which no one else has. He has given us special Wisdom, Patience, Dignity, Power of speech, Courage and Respect. He gave us special benefit of belonging to the family of his Prophet. To us belong Hamza and Jafar. To us belong Asadullah (The lion of Allah, Imam Ali(a.s.)). To us belong the leader of the youths of paradise (Imam Hassan(a.s.) and Imam Hussain(a.s.)).

“Those who know me, know me. Those who do not, then know that I am the son of Mecca and Mina. I am the son of Zamzam and Safa. I am the son of he who gave Zakat to the poor. I am the son of the best of those who have ever put on Ihram and performed ceremonies of Hajj. I am the son of he who was taken on the night journey from house of Allah to the Mosque of Aqsa and then to Miraj. I am the son of he who was taken around by Gibrael to the Lote-tree of the boundary (Sidratul Muntaha).

“I am the son of Muhammad Mustafa(pbuh&hf). I am the son of Ali Al-Murtaza(a.s.) who fought the polytheists in the battle till they submitted to Islam and fought in the presence of the Prophet until his sword was broken and to whom Zulfikar was given. I am the son of he who had the honour to migrate twice in Islam. I am the son of Fatima the best women of the world…”.

The effect of the speech was so powerful that everybody in the Mosque began to weep and to blame Yazid. Yazid was afraid that if the Imam continued his speech, there would be a revolution and revolt. At the same time Yazid could not stop the Imam and get him down from the Mimber. He therefore ordered a “Muazzin” to give Azan, knowing that this would automatically cut the Imam’s speech. But he underestimated the Imam’s bravery and intelligence. The Imam stopped his speech but did not get down from the Mimber. When the Muazzin said ” Allahu Akber” the Imam testified Allah’s greatness. When the Muazzin said, “Ash hadu anna Muhammaddan Rasulullah”, the Imam stopped the Muazzin from going any further. He then turned to Yezid and asked him. “Tell me o Yazid, was Muhammad(pbuh&hf) your grandfather or mine? If you say he was your grandfather it will be an open lie and if you say he was my grandfather then why have you killed his son and imprisoned his family? Why have you killed my father and brought his women and children to this city as prisoners?”

Yazid had no reply to give.

The effect of this was to turn Syrians against Yazid. Everyone of them now found out about Yazid’s crimes that he had committed against the Prophet (pbuh&hf) and his family. They began to blame him and ask for the release of Imam Zain al-Abidin(a.s.) and the womenfolk of the house of the Prophet. Yazid was now afraid that if he did not act fast his rulership would be lost. He therefore freed Imam Zain al-Abidin(a.s.) and let. him return to Medina with full honour and respect.

His Life in Madina

Yazid had to free the Imam(a.s.) out of fear of his own rulership, therefore, Imam(a.s.) was still not completely safe from his evil designs even upon reaching back to Madina. Once in Madina, Imam(a.s.) gathered the people and told them the horrifying stories of Karbala and informed them that his father Imam Hussain(a.s.) and his companions were martyred and his family members were made prisoners and were taken from one city to another and branded as traitors.

Imam Sajjad(a.s.) started regular mourning session right from the day he arrived in Madina and apprised the people of the hard times that the family of the Prophet(pbuh&hf) had to to through. Day in and day out, people used to go to Imam(a.s.) and present condolence and hear the events of Karbala. Once a visitor named Noman came to Imam(a.s.) and asked him which was the most difficult time he had to face and the Imam(a.s.) cried for a long time and three times said “AS-SHAAM AS-SHAAM AS-SHAAM”. Another visitor asked him as to how long would he continue mourning and crying and he replied that Prophet Ayub(a.s.) had 12 sons and only one of them got lost and he know that he was still alive but he continued crying until his eyes became white and his back got bent – I had seen 17 members of my family being slaughtered around me like sheep and you ask me as to how long I would continue mourning.

Another task that Imam Sajjad(a.s.) did after coming back from Syria was that he started praying and saying supplications with full devotion. His devotion was so strong and felt by his companions and visitors that they started collection his supplications which still exist by the name of SAHIFA-E-KAMILA. It is also know as SAHIFA-E-SAJJADIA. It consists of 54 Duas, 14 additional duas and 15 Munajaat. In addition to the SAHIFA there are several other supplications of the Imam(a.s.) which appear under different cover names.

His martyrdom

Imam(a.s.) kept his life very personal and preferred to stay in a town close to Madina from where he would preach the true religion of Allah(swt) quietly and with character. His character and preaching inspired a large number of people specially in the vicinity of Madina and Makkah. Slowly the tyrrant rulers of his time began to realize the dangers that they faced from the Imam(a.s.)’s preaching and character. His period of Imamte was full of tyrant rulers such as Yazid untill 64 A.H., Moawiya bin Yazid and Marwan bin-al-Hakam until 65 A.H, then from 68 A.H. until 86 A.H. was the rulership of Abdul Malik bin Marwan and finally from 86 A.H. until 96 A.H. was the period of Walid bin Abdul Malik. Amid this growing threat, Walid decided to poison and kill the Imam and finally he succeeded in his ulterior motives and Imam Sajjad(a.s.) was poisoned by the governor of Madina and martyred on 25th Moharram 95 A.H. (713 A.D.)

Aap ki wilaadat 5 Sha’abaan 38 Hijri (6 January 659 A.D.) me Madeena munawwara me hui.

Aap ke waalid ka naam Hazrat Imaam Husain ibn Ali radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu aur waalida ka naam Shahar Banu binte Yazdegerd radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anha hai.

Aap se Husaini saadaat ka silsila jaari hai.

Aap Aa’imma e ahle bait ke chothe Imaam hain.

Aap Hazrat Imaam Husain radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu ke Silsila e Tareeqat ke khalifa hain.

61 Hijri me Junge Karbala ke mauqe par Aap shadeed beemaar the. Jab tamaam saathiyo ke shaheed hone ke baad Imaame Husain radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu maidaan e jung me jaane se pehle Aap ke paas aaye, to aap ne bistar se uthne ki koshish karte hue kaha ke ‘Aye mere waalid! Abhi main maujood hu. Is liye aap se pehle mujhe maidaan e jang me jaane ki ijaazat den.’ Magar Aap beemaari aur kamzori ke sabab khade na ho paaye. Imaame Husain ne aap se farmaaya ke ‘Aye mere bete! Rab ta’ala ki ye marzi hai ke tum meri shahaadat ke baad Ahle bait ki aurto ki hifaazat karo aur tum se hi meri nasl jaari rahegi.’
Phir Imaame Husain ne aap ko Khilaafat aur Imaamat ata farmai. Aur Aap phir se be-hosh ho gaye.

Imaame Husain radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu ki shahaadat ke baad Yazeedi lashkar Imaam ke khaimo ko loot liye aur jala diye aur ahle bait ki muqaddas khwaatino ko be-parda karne ki gustaakhi ki aur Moharram ki 11wi raat ko Imaam Zain-ul-aabideen ko aur aurto aur bacho ko khule maidaan me guzaarni padi. Is ke baad Aap ko aur deegar ahle bait ko qaid karke aur Imaam Husain radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu ke sar mubarak ko neze par rakhkar pehle Ibne Ziyaad ke paas Kufa laaya gaya aur phir Yazeed ke paas Damishq le gaye.

Karbala se waapas aate waqt aap ne ek Qaseedah padha tha (Yaa Sayyidi irham lanaa) jo bahot hi mash’hoor hai .

Jab Ibne Ziyad ke daar-ul-imaarat par Ahle bait ke qaafile ko laaya gaya aur Ibne Ziyad ke saamne Imaame Aali maqaam ka sar mubarak rakha gaya to us gustaakh ne kaha ‘Khuda ka shukr hai ke hum ne dushmano par fateh paai. Humare dushmano par ALLĀH ne sakhti daali, Baatil mit gaya aur haq ghaalib raha.’
Ye sunkar Imaam Zainul aabideen ne josh ke saath farmaaya ‘Aye Ibne Marjaana! Kya tera dil aur tera zameer is jhute qaul ki tasdeeq kar raha hai ke Husain baatil parast the aur Yazeed haq parast? Afsos teri aql par parda pad gaya hai ke tu us Husain ko baatil parast keh raha hai jo wafadaare Khuda wa Rasool hain aur Yazeed ko haq parast keh raha hai jo Khuda wa Rasool ka baaghi hai.’

Us ke baad Yazeed ke darbaar me Ahle bait ke qaafile ko laaya gaya. Jab Yazeed ne Imaam Zain-ul-Aabideen se kaha ke ‘Aap Mujh se kuchh farma’ish karen main use puri karunga.’ Aap ne farmaaya ‘Mujhe ye ummeed to nahi ke main kuchh bhi kahunga use pura karega aur agar tu waaqai apne qaul me sacha hai to mere mutaalibat hai unhe pura kar :
(1) Mere waalide mohtaram ke Qaatil ko mere hawaale kar de ke main use qatl karun.
(2) Aaj Juma’a ka din Hai, Mujhe ijaazat de ke main mimbar par chadhkar Khutba padhu.
(3) Shohada ke saro ko mujhe de de ke main unhe le jaakar un ke jism muqaddas ke saath dafn karu.
(4) Humare loote hue qaafile ko Madeena munawwara pahuncha de.

Yazeed in 4 sawaalo ko sunkar sab se pehle qaatile Imaame Husain radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu ke muta’alliq puchha. Logo ne kaha ke ‘Khauli bin Yazeed hai.’ Us ne inkaar kiya aur kaha ke ‘Maine qatl nahi kiya balke qaatil Sinaan ibn Anas hai.’ Sinaan ibne Anas apna naam sunte hi bola ‘Qaatile Husain par la’anat hai. Qaatile Husain to Shimr bin Zil Jawshaan hai.’ Magar Shimr ne bhi saaf inkaar kiya.
Yazeed ne kaha ke ‘Aakhir kisi na kisi ne to qatl kiya hi hoga.’ Yazeed ke tewar dekhkar Shimr ko bhi josh aa gaya aur kehne laga ‘Mujhe Husain ka qatl karne ki kya zaroorat hogi. Jise saltanat ki laalach ho aur jise ye lagta ho ke agar Husain zinda rahe to meri saltanat ko khatra hai aur jis ne sab ko maal wa jaagir dekar jung ke liye tayyaar kiye aur dusro ke zariye apna maqsad haasil kiya wo hi Husain ka qaatil hai.’
Yazeed samajh gaya ki ye saari baaten usi par boli jaa rahi hai aur kehne laga ‘Tum sab par khuda ki la’anat ho. Sab ke sab yaha se chale jaao.’
Phir Yazeed ne Imaam Zain-ul-Aabideen se kaha ke ‘Qaatile Imaam ka Mutaalba darguzar kijiye. Baaqi Aap ke tamaam mutaalibaat manzoor hai.’

Phir Yazeed Imaam ko lekar Jaama masjid pahuncha.
Jaama Masjid pahunchne ke baad Yazeed ne dekha ke badi ta’adaad me log maujood hain jin me Shaam ke bade bade umra wa raees bhi hain to us ne ek Shaami Khateeb ko ishaara kiya. Wo foran mimbar par chadh gaya aur khutba shuru kar diya. Jis me Bani Abu Sufyaan ki ta’areef aur Bani Abu Taalib ki buraai ki.
Logo ne Imaam Zain-ul-aabideen ko dekhkar un ko khutba dene ke liye israar kiya. Phir aap mimbar par tashreef laaye aur Hamd o ṡana ke baad wa’az aur naseehat farmaaya :
‘Aye logo! Dunya aur us ke fareb se bacho. Tum se pehle aise log guzre hain jin ke maal aur umar tum se zyada thi magar un ke jismo ko mitti ne khaa liya. Chunaanche dunya me mashgool rehna be-faa’ida hai. Lihaaza apni guzishta aur aa’inda ki zindagi par gaur karo. Nafsaani khwaahishaat se hokar umr ki muddat khatm hone se pehle dunya me nek kaam karo jin ka achha sila tumhe aa’inda milne waala hai. Is unche unche mahelo se bahot jald qabro ki taraf bulaaye jaaoge aur achhe bure kaamo ke baare me tum se hisaab liya jaayega.’

Phir Aap ne farmaaya ‘Aye logo! Khuda ne achhi aazma’ish ke saath humara imtihaan liya. Hume ilm wa hidaayat ata farmaaye aur humare mukhaalifo ko gumraahi ka jhanda diya aur hume jumla aalameen par buzurghi ata farmai. Aur hume woh ata farmaaya jo makhlooq me se kisi ko ata nahi farmaaya. Hume 5 cheezo se makhsoos farmaaya jo makhlook me se kisi me ek saath nahi paai jaati : Mohabbate khuda, Mohabbate Rasool, Ilm, Shuja’at aur sakhaawat.’

Phir Aap ne farmaaya ‘Jo mujhe jaanta ho aur jo na jaanta ho ab jaane ki main Huzoor Rasool-Allāh alaihi wa sallam ki aankho ka noor hu aur Ibne Husain bin Ali hu. Mere waalid sibte Rasool-Allāh ko maidaane Karbala me 3 din bhuka pyaasa mazloom shaheed kiya gaya.’

Ye sunkar masjid me kohraam mach gaya. Ahle Damishq be-qaraar ho gaye. Yazeed ne khaufzada hokar moazzin ko jaldi se iqaamat ke liye ishaara kiya.

Is ke baad Yazeed Jaama masjid se apne ghar aaya to us ki biwi ne bataaya ke ‘Aaj raat maine khwaab dekha hai ke Aasmaano ke darwaaze khule hain. Farishto ki jama’ate aa rahi hain aur sare Imaam Husain ke qareeb aakar rookti hain aur arz karte hain ‘Assalaamu alayka Ya Abu Abdullāh. Phir ek baadal aasmaan se utra. Yun to us me bahot aadmi hain lekin chaand se zyada roshan o munawwar chehre waale ek shakhs aage badhe aur sare Imaame paak ke qareeb pahunchkar bahot roye aur farmaaya ‘Salaam tum par Aye mere lakhte jigar! In zaalimo ne tum par bahot zulm kiye, paani bhi band kar diya, tumhe qatl kar diya. Kya tum ye samajhte ho ke wo Tumhare khaandaan aur rutbe ko nahi pehchaante.’

Is khwaab ke baare me sunkar Yazeed ne Imaam Zain-ul-aabideen ko bulaaya aur kaha ke ‘Jo kuchh hona tha ho chuka. Agar aap yaha rehna chaahe to qayaam farmaaye. Main khidmat ke liye haazir hu aur agar jaana chaahe to safar ka intazaam karwa du.’

Aap ne farmaaya ke ‘Imaame Aali maqaam to hum se juda ho hi chuke hain. Damishq me koi Haashmi baaqi nahi. Unhe dhoondh dhoondh kar qatl kar diye gaye hain. Ab to tamanna yehi hai ke Madeena jaakar Roza e Rahmatulil aalameen ki thandi chhaanv me baaqi ki zindagi guzaaru.’

Yazeed ne Hazrat Nomaan bin Basheer ke saath qaafila e Ahle bait ko shohda e Karbala ke saro ke saath Madeena ki jaanib rawaana kiya.

Imaam ne Karbala pahunchkar un saro ko shohada ke jismo ke saath milaakar ba-adab dafn kiye. Phir Karbala se Madeena ke liye rawaan hue.

Imaam Madeena munawwara pahunche is ke kuchh din baad Yazeed ne apne chachazaad bhai Uṡmaan bin Mohammad bin Abu Sufyaan ko Madeena Munawwara bheja. Usmaan ne Madeena pahuchkar ek jama’at ko Yazeed ke haath par bai’at karne ke liye Madeena munawwara se Damishq bheja.
Lekin jab wo log Damishq se Madeena waapas aaye to Yazeed ke Fisq o fujoor ka aankho dekha haal Ahle Madeena ke saamne bayaan kiya. Chunaache Ahle Madeena ne Yazeed ka muqarrar karda aamil Usmaan bin Muhammad ko Madeena se baahar nikaal diya. Aur Hazrat Abdullāh bin Hanzala radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu ke haath par Bai’at kar li.
Lekin Hazrat Manzar bin Zubair ke mashware par Hazrat Abdullāh bin Hanzala muslmano ki jama’at ko lekar Hazrat Imaam Zain-ul-aabideen radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu ki khidmat me haazir hue. Jab Imaam ne aane ki wajah puchhi to Hazrat Abdullāh bin Hanzala ne bataaya ke ‘Hum Imaame Aali maqaam aur Ahle bait ke ghulaam hain aur Aap se bai’at karne ke liye aaye hain.’ Ye sunkar Imaam ki aankho se aansu jaari ho gaye aur farmaaya ‘Khudaara, Ab ye tazkeera e Bai’at o khilaafat mere saamne na chhedo. Karbala ka ek ek manzar har waqt mere peshe nazar hai. Mere zakhmi dil me ab naye zakhm ki koi gunja’ish nahi. Main sirf is dar par rehkar Rab ki baargaah me sajda karke kuchh sukoon paana chaahta hu.’
Jab sahaaba ne zyada israar kiya to Aap ne farmaaya ke ‘Agar mera Madeena me rehna aap logo ko pasand nahi hai to aaj hi main apne mazloom khaandaan ko saath lekar kisi aisi jagah chala jaaunga jaha koi mera gham dobaara taaza na kare.’ Sahaaba ne Aap ki ye kaifiyat dekhi to khaamosh ho aaye aur Hazrat Abdullāh bin Hanzala radiy-Allāhu ta’ala anhu ki bai’at jaari rahi.

Aap ki Ibaadat, Ilm, Husn e akhlaaq, Sabr aur Sakhaawat mash’hoor hai.

Aap ki ye aadat thi ke aap puri raat Ibaadat e ilāhi me guzaarte.
Aur raat me posheeda rehkar khud gareebo aur haajatmando ko zaroorat ki cheeze pahunchate.

Aap ke inteqaal ke baad logo ko pata chala ke ye sab imdaad kaun karta tha.

Aap hamesha buraai ka badla bhi is tarah dete the ke khata-kaar sharminda hokar apni khata ki muafi maang leta aur neki ikhtiyaar kar leta.

Ek din Imaam Zain-ul-aabideen rahmatullāhi alaihi apne ghar se baahar kahi tashreef le jaa rahe the ki raaste me kisi gustaakh ne aap ko bura kehna shru kar diya. Aap ne us se farmaaya ke ‘Tum ne mujh se jo kuchh kaha agar main waaqai me aisa hu to khuda mujhe muaf farmae.’ Ye sunkar wo shakhs bada sharminda hua aur kehne laga ‘Huzoor, Jo kuchh maine kaha aap aise bilkul bhi nahi hain. Main hi jhuta hu. Aap mere liye maghfirat ki dua farmaayen.’ Aap ne farmaaya ke ‘Achha jaao, Khuda tumhe muaf farmaye.’

Ek baar Aap jangal me se guzar rahe the. Itne me ek hirni aap ke paas aakar baith gai aur kuchh kehne lagi. Imaam Zain-ul-aabideen ke saathiyo ne Aap se is ke baare me puchha to aap ne bataya ‘Ek shakhs ne is ke bache ko pakad liya hai.’ Phir Aap ne us shakhs ko aap ke paas laane ke liye kaha. Jab wo aaya to aap ne use hirni ke bache ko chhod dene ke liye kaha. Us ne Imaam ki baat maankar use chhod diya. Us hirni kuchh kaha aur apne bache ko lekar chali gai. Aap ke saathiyo Imaam se arz kiya ‘Hume bataiye ki wo hirni kya keh rahi thi?’ Aap ne farmaaya ‘Wo keh rahi thi JazaakAllāhu fi daarain khair .’

Aap ne ‘Risaalatul Huqooq’ me Huqooq-ul-ibaad ke baare me tafseeli bayaan farmaaya hai.

Aqwaal :
(1) Apne waalidain ki har haal me izzat aur farmaan bardari karo, Kyun ki agar wo na hote tum bhi is dunya me na hote. Unho ne khud bhuke rehkar tumhe khilaaya hai, khud puraane kapde pehankar tumhe achha libaas pehnaaya hai aur khud dhup me rehkar tumhe chhanv me rakha hai aur tumhe har gham se bachaane ki koshish ki hai.

(2) Apne ustaad ki adab o ehtaraam karo aur wo jo sikhaaye wo tawajjoh ke saath sikho aur agar koi un se koi sawaal kare to un se pehle us ka jawaab na do agarche tum us ke baare me jaante ho.

(3) Apne padosi ki izzat karo, us se ache ta’alluqaat rakho aur us ki madad karo. Agar tum koi aib dekho to use zaahir na karo aur agar us se koi galti ho jaaye to narmi ke saath islaah karo.

(4) Insaan ke aansoo us waqt muqaddas hote hain jab wo kisi aur ke dukh ya takleef ko mehsoos karke nikle.

(1) Sayyeda Faatima bint Hasan al-Mujtaba se
7 bete : Muhammad al-Baaqir, Abdullāh al-Baahir, Hasan, Husain, Abdur Rahmān, Sulaimān, Muhammad al-Asghar.
4 betiya : Khadeeja, Faatima, Aaliyah, Umme Kulṡoom.

(2) Jaydaa al-Sindhi se
2 bete : Zaid, Ali.

Ummul Walad Sa’adah se
2 bete : Husain al-Asghar, Umar al-Ashraf.

Madeena ke governor Waleed bin Marwan ke hukm se Hishaam ibn Abdul Malik ne aap ko zeher diya.

Aap ka wisaal 18 Moharram 95 Hijri (13 October 713 A.D.) me 57 saal ki umr me hua.

Aap ka mazaar Jannatul Baqi, Madeena munawwara me Hazrat Imaam Hasan al-Mujtaba ke bagal me hai.

Sab ko mukammal ishq e Rasool ata farmae aur Sab ke Eimaan ki hifaazat farmae aur Sab ko nek amal karne ki taufiq ata farmae.
Aur Sab ko dunya wa aakhirat me kaamyaabi ata farmae aur Sab ki nek jaa’iz muraado ko puri farmae.
