The Queen of Saba (Bilqīs) — Wisdom That Led to Truth

👑 The Queen of Saba (Bilqīs) — Wisdom That Led to Truth 🌿☀️

The Qur’an tells us about a powerful and intelligent queen who ruled a great kingdom known as Saba (Sheba). She possessed wealth, authority, and a magnificent throne, yet her people worshipped the sun instead of Allah.

When Prophet Sulaymān (A.S.) learned about her kingdom through the hoopoe bird (Hud-hud), he sent her a letter calling her to worship Allah alone.

♦️ “Indeed, it is from Sulaymān, and indeed, it reads: In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Do not exalt yourselves above me, but come to me in submission.”
📖 Qur’an — Surah An-Naml 27:30–31

Unlike arrogant rulers, the Queen of Saba did not rush into war. She consulted her advisors and chose wisdom over pride. She sent gifts to test Sulaymān (A.S.), but he rejected them, making it clear that his power came from Allah, not worldly wealth.

When she decided to visit Sulaymān (A.S.), Allah demonstrated His power further. Her great throne was brought to Sulaymān before she even arrived.

When she entered the palace and saw its glass floor, she mistook it for water — another sign meant to humble her heart.

At that moment, truth became clear to her.

♦️ She said: “My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Sulaymān to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.”
📖 Qur’an — Surah An-Naml 27:44

The Queen of Saba accepted Islam — not by force, but through wisdom, signs, and reflection. Her story shows that true greatness lies not in power or wealth, but in submitting to the truth when it becomes clear.
