The month of Muharram arrives…
And people start saying:
“Happy New Year!”

But what’s so happy about this month?

This is the month when the grandson of Rasūlullāh ﷺ,
Imām Ḥusain ʿAlayhis-Salām,
was slaughtered on the sands of Karbala —
with his children, his brothers, and his loyal companions.

Even Rasūlullāh ﷺ grieved this tragedy,
long before it happened.

Look at the life of Imām ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥusain Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn ʿAlayhis-Salām —
Do you think he would ever say “Happy New Year”?
He cried over Karbala for decades…

Aal-e-Rasūl ne apne ghar ka ghar qurbān kiya
to preserve the deen we now comfortably live in.

And yet, we — the followers of this very deen —
welcome Muharram with celebrations?

No, friend.
Muharram is not about fireworks. It’s about fire in the heart.

A fire lit by the memory of Ḥusain ʿAlayhis-Salām,
that still burns for truth, justice, and loyalty.

*अहले बैत से महब्बत करो*

بِسْــــــمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْـمٰـنِ الرَّحِـيْـمِ
اَلصَّــلٰـوةُ وَالسَّــلَامُ  عَــلَـيْـكَ يَا رَسُــوْلَ اللّٰه ﷺ

     फरमाने आखरी नबी ﷺ अल्लाह पाक से महब्बत करो क्यूं कि वोह तुम्हें अपनी नेमत से रोज़ी देता है, और अल्लाह पाक की महब्बत (हासिल करने) के लिये मुझ महब्बत करो, और मेरी महब्बत (पाने) के लिये मेरे अहले बैत से महब्बत करो।
`ترمذی، خ ۵، حدیث:٤١٨٣`

*मोमिने कामिल कौन ?*
     फरमाने मुस्तफा ﷺ उस वक्त तक कोई (कामिल) मोमिन नहीं हो सकता जब तक मैं उस को उस की जान से ज़ियादा प्यारा न हो जाऊं और मेरी औलाद उस को अपनी औलाद से ज़ियादा प्यारी न हो जाए।
`شعب الایمان، خ۲، حدیث:٥٠٥١`

*मुहिब्बे अहले बैत शफाअत पाएगा*
      आक़ा ﷺ ने फरमाया हमारे अहले बैत की महब्बत को लाज़िम पकड़ लो क्यूं कि जो अल्लाह पाक से इस हाल में मिला कि वोह हम से महब्बत करता है, तो अल्लाह पाक उसे मेरी शफाअत के सबब जन्नत में दाखिल फरमाएगा और उस की क़सम जिस के क़ब्ज़ए कुदरत में मेरी जान है ! किसी बन्दे को उस का अमल उसी सूरत में फाएदा देगा जब कि वोह हमारा (या’नी मेरा और मेरे अहले बैत का) हक़ पहचाने।

     तुम में बेहतर आदमी वोह है जो मेरे बाद मेरे अहले बैत के लिये बेहतर होगा।
