Hazrat Shurahbil ibn Hasana r.a

Shurahbil ibn Hasana, or Ibn Hasanah, (583-639), was a Rasool Allah  and later one of the commanders of Rashidun army. He served under Rashidun caliphs, Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar. He was from the Banu Kindah tribe.

He was one of the main field commanders during Muslim conquest of Syria and served in Syria from 634 till his death in 639 from plague.
