Who Really Inherits the Prophets? 📚

■ Who Really Inherits the Prophets? 📚

You know, in this world, people inherit wealth, land, businesses—things that seem valuable but don’t really last. Generations pass, fortunes fade, and what was once a grand empire becomes nothing but a story. But do you know who the real inheritors are? The ones who inherit something that never loses its value?

The Ulama (scholars) are the true inheritors of the Prophets. Not through gold or silver, but through Ilm (knowledge). The knowledge that lights up hearts, guides nations, and keeps the message of truth alive.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

❝The superiority of a scholar over a worshipper is like the superiority of the full moon over the stars.❞

▪︎ (Ibn Abdul Barr)

SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi SubhanAllahil Adheem! Think about that for a second. Stars are beautiful, but they shine with limited light. A full moon illuminates the whole night sky. That’s the difference between an Abid (worshipper) and an Alim (scholar). A worshipper benefits himself, but a scholar benefits entire generations.

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet ﷺ also said:

❝Whoever Allah ﷻ wants good for, He grants him understanding of the religion.❞

▪︎ (Bukhari, Muslim)

And do you know who the Shaytan fears the most? Not just any worshipper, but an Alim! Because one knowledgeable person can defeat a thousand ignorant worshippers. Why? Because knowledge gives clarity, and clarity destroys deception.

The Aulia Allah walked this path of knowledge and worship together. They weren’t just scholars who spoke, nor were they just worshippers who prayed. They were both. They studied, they taught, they prayed, they wept, and they connected hearts to Allah ﷻ.

So, what are we chasing today? Degrees, jobs, money, status? But what about the knowledge that connects us to our Rabb? The knowledge that makes us walk in the footsteps of the Prophets? If we knew its value, we would never let a single day pass without seeking it.

Because in the end, wealth fades, beauty disappears, and power shifts hands. But Ilm keeps shining, even after we’re gone.

SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi SubhanAllahil Adheem!

So, the real question is: Do we want to be just another passerby in history, or do we want to be among those who inherit the light of the Prophets?

The choice is ours. 💡✨
