The formula for protection:

■ The formula for protection:

If you recite Ayat al-Kursi, nothing will be stolen from you, Insha’Allah.

Sahih Bukhari (1050) narrates that once, the Prophet ﷺ assigned me to guard the Zakat al-Fitr. A person came and started picking up dates with both hands. I caught him and said, “I will take you to the Prophet ﷺ.” He replied, “When you go to bed at night, recite Ayat al-Kursi, and in the morning, Allah will assign an angel to protect you from the evil of Satan.” When I mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, He said, “He spoke the truth, though he is a liar. He was a devil.”

■ To protect ourselves from the evil of jinn and shayatin, we must make it a regular habit to recite Ayat al-Kursi after the morning and evening supplications, and before sleeping at night, Insha’Allah.

Muhammad bin Abi Kab narrated from his father that one night, while guarding his date palms, he noticed a thief who was a young boy resembling an animal. When asked, he said he was a jinn. His hands and hair were like those of a dog. The jinn said, “We know that you like to give charity, so we have come to take a share of your food.” When asked what could protect him, the jinn said, “Whoever recites the verse from Surah Al-Baqarah at night will be protected until morning, and whoever recites it in the morning will be protected until night.” When I reported this to the Prophet ﷺ, He confirmed that the wicked one spoke the truth.

There is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is there who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they cannot encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

(Al-Mujam al-Kabir by al-Tabarani 541)

May Allah ﷻ grant us His protection and bless us with the recitation of Ayat al-Kursi always.

Medical & Life Sciences:DEW AS AN IRRIGATION RESOURCE

DEW AS AN IRRIGATION RESOURCE IN AGRICULTURE TO CLARIFY THE SCIENTIFIC IMPORTANCE OF DEW TO PLANTS IN QUR’AN

Dr.Molok ALKhzan

. King Abdul-Aziz University

Abstract

In this study we clarified a scientific fact that mentioned in Qur’an as source of irrigation to plants which is the word Tul (which means the dew in Arabic), which mentioned in surat Albagara (265):

The Scientific fact: Recently, many researches provide evidence that dew is a continuous source of water to plants, and some plants depend on dew more than on rain. This is because it is easy for plants to absorb dew from surface of their leaves than waiting for rains to settle down to their roots. The importance of dew motivated many researchers to catch the mist to irrigate food plants in dry regions.

Faces of Scientific fact in Qur’an from the above, we can understand that dew is one of the natural available water resources for plants especially in dry regions. This is because rains has to be heavy enough to go down into the soil and thereafter absorbed by plants.hn the above verse, Allah the Almighty, Has clarified this fact in scientific and precise picture since fourteen century ago. The word which is mentioned in the above verse, means, in Arabic, field of different kinds and shapes of plants .These plants can be with deep roots, medium or shallow roots water from rain available to plant when it settle down into the soil. However, even shallow rooted plants can absorb dew because it is available in their leaves surfaces. This showed the importance of dew to irrigate different kinds of plants. This what was proved recently using many technologies.

Nonetheless, some interpreters suggested that the word means light rains. However this proved not to be true

because light rains will evaporate before plants can benefit from their water, and so no production. The above verse indicated that many fruits come out when these plants absorb the Tul (b).

Dew normally stays on leaves surfaces for many hours, enough for the plants to absorb it. Plants absorb dew through their cuticle or through special cells in their leaves. In some places, the collected dew reached 1.5 inch, which is sufficient for meristematic tissues to grow leading to growth of other parts.

Finally, what Allah the Almighty Has mentioned about the importance of dew a long time ago (longer than basics of plant ecology has been studied), humans discovered it recently.

Section 6 – The nobility of the Prophet’s lineage, his honored birthplace, and his upbringing.

Section 6 – The nobility of the Prophet’s lineage, his honored birthplace, and his upbringing

The lineage of Prophet Muhammad, praise and peace be upon him, was from the best of the children of Hashim and the noble fabrics of the Koraysh. He was descended from the most noble and mighty Arabs not only on his father’s side but also on his mother’s.

Referring to the blessing of his nobility the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, told Abu Hurayrah “I was sent from the best of each consecutive generation of the children of Adam until I appeared in the generation in which I am from.”

There are many Prophetic sayings reported by the Companions, the following a selection: are

Al Abbas tells us that the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said, “Allah created the Creation and from the best of their generations He placed me among the best of them. Then He selected the tribes and placed me among the best tribe. Thereafter, He selected families and placed me among the best of them. I am the best of them in person and the best of them in family.”

Waila Aska’s son tells of the time the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, spoke of his lineage saying, “Allah chose Ishmael from the children of Abraham, and from the children of Ishmael He chose the children of Kinana, then from the children of Kinana Allah chose the Koraysh and chose the children of Hashim

from the Koraysh, then Allah chose me from the children of Hashim.”

We are told by Omar’s son that the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said “Allah, the Mighty, the Glorified chose from His creation the children of Adam. Then from the children of Adam He chose the Arabs. Thereafter He chose from the Arabs the Koraysh. Then He chose from the Koraysh and from them He choose the children of Hashim. From the children of Hashim He chose me, and

Iam the best of the best. Whosoever loves the Arabs loves them because he loves of me. Whosoever hates Arabs hates them because he hates me.”

Abbas’ son said that the spirit of the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him,
was
a light in the hands of Allah two thousand years before He created Adam. That light exalted Him and by this light the angels exalted Allah, and when Allah created Adam, He cast that light into his loins.

He also tells us that the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said, “Allah brought me down to earth in the loins of Adam, then He placed me in the loins of Noah and thereafter cast me into the loins of Abraham. Allah proceeded to move me from one noble loin and pure womb to another until He brought me out of my parents. None of them were ever joined together in fornication.”

Miracles of the Saints:Mumshad Dinwari.

A dervish once asked Dinwari to pray for him to the Lord. At the request Dinwari replied, “Go to the door of the Lord and pray directly to Him, you do not need my mediation,” the dervish enquired, “But where is the door of the Lord?” He replied, “Where you are no longer (i.e. in your non-being) that is where the door is found.” Hearing this, the dervish left for a solitary place and began his prayers. The Lord showered him with His grace munificently.

One day the town in which Dinwari lived was flooded. On that day Dinwari saw the dervish sat on a mattress floating on the water. Surprised Dinwari asked how he had attained such excellence that even the floodwater obeyed him. The dervish replied it was due to Allah’s blessings upon him and the result of him following his instructions. (Tadhkeratul
