Abstract

Text miraculous:

It is sufficient to denote the statement miracle dates and palm trees in the healing and prevention of harmful bacteria found in the mouth and others. The Quran mentioned in multiple locations including the verse: {And lofty palm trees with fruit arranged in layers} (Surah Qaaf, ayah 10), also Allah saying:{ And fields of crops and palm trees with softened fruit }(Surah as-Shu’araa, ayah 148), and saying: In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates}(Surah ar-Rahman, ayah 68).

As stated in the hadeeth the prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The best of your dates is the barnee date, it removes diseases and no diseases are found in it.” The prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever eats seven ajwah dates in the morning will not be harmed by poison or black magic for the rest of that day until the night.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said, “The ‘ajwah date is from Paradise and it is an antidote against poison”The attribution is true of here, was the start of research to know the effect of dates in the elimination of certain harmful microbes isolated from the mouth and tonsillitis.

Scientific Facts associated with the text:

This research concerns by:

• Statement of dates in miracles of healing and prevention of diseases, particularly mouth’s diseases.

• Effect of the dates in the inhibition of bacteria isolated from the mouths of fasting human at the evening.

• Effect of the dates in the inhibition of bacteria isolated from patients with tonsillitis.

Research:

In this study, the isolated bacterial species present in the mouths of fasting for twenty-nine males aged 21-23 years old have been sampling in the evening about an hour before eating. It was found that dates with the different concentrations have an effective bioactivity in inhibiting and the elimination of these bacteria isolated from the mouths of fasting. The study was conducted also on the 30 sample of patients (21 females and 9 males, both adults and children) who were clinically diagnosed to have tonsillitis (with or without adenoiditis), some patients have acute infection like peritonsillar abscess before tonsillectomy, other patients were make tonsillectomy but they have a risen in ASO titer. Antibacterial activity of aqueous extracts of date was compared with 9 Yemeni medicinal plants (such as Allium sativum, Citrus aurantifolia, Nigeria sativa, Zingiber officinale, Eugenia caryophyllata, Acacia, Thymus laerigatus and Ocimum basilicum) against isolated bacteria. Date

(Phoenix dactylifera) extract was had the highest effect on all bacterial strains isolated from tonsillitis.

The miracle in the text:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, regarding the fasting person, “Indeed, the changed smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person as evening approaches is better with Allah than the smell of musk.” We know that bacteria, which change the smell of the mouth, caused the cause of bad odor in the mouth of the fasting person at evening, so it was (peace be upon him) break his fast with dates. Anas narrated that, “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would break his fast with ripe dates before he would pray. If there were no dates, he would drink some water.” We have found in this research that dates inhibit most kinds of bacteria isolated from the mouth of fasting in the evening.

The prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The best of your dates is the barnee date, it removes diseases and no diseases are found in it.”, dates Albrani varieties of dates. We had known that the most important causes of disease are bacteria, so we have isolated the bacteria that cause inflammatory disease like tonsillitis. The effect of dates in the elimination of bacteria was studied and we found that dates had a significant impact on the elimination of these bacteria.

Mohamed peace be upon him said: “Whoever eats seven ajwah dates in the morning will not be harmed by poison or black magic for the rest of that day until the night.” He said (peace be upon him): “The ‘ajwah date is from Paradise and it is an antidote against poison” Dr. Alencimi says: toxic kinds, and poisoning can be either exogenous, enters the body through wounds or snakebite, or by coating burns extensive material is toxic great, or by mouth with food and drink or through breathing, and can be either poisoning endogenous like (Uremia) or as a result of intestinal infection, or bacteria and parasites toxins. This research was interested in microbial infection, particularly bacterial toxins or infection, and the effect of dates in the elimination of certain harmful microbes, both those that produce internal or external toxins isolated from the mouth and tonsils were found to be infected with the highly effective of date in eradicating the bacteria.

Section 7a – The daily life of the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him

Section 7a – The daily life of the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him

The necessities of one’s daily life can be categorized as being of three kinds:

1. That which is excellent in small quantities 2. That which is excellent in large quantities 3. That which varies according to the situation

Being satisfied with a little has been acclaimed by scholars and sages alike as being excellent. Having an excess of anything is an indication of greed, covetousness and gluttony. Excess leads to harm in this life and in the Everlasting Life. Take for example the consumption of excessive food and drink, overindulgence cultivates illness, causes coarseness in the self and dulls the intellect. When one is satisfied with a little it is an indication of contentment and self-control.

The same can be said of excessive sleep, it is an indication of weakness, lack

of intelligence and sharpness. The result is that of laziness, squandering one’s life in useless pursuits, hard-heartedness, neglect, and this leads to the death of
one’s heart.

Ample proof is found in the sayings of the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him and in observation from the sages of bygone eras. These proofs will not be mentioned in full since the knowledge they contain is well known, instead it will be summarized.

The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, was the most abstemious of men and encouraged his followers to be satisfied with a little. Al Mikdam, Madikarib’s son reported that he said “The son of Adam does not fill any container worse than his belly. A little is sufficient for the son of Adam to keep
his
back straight. If there must be more, then a third for his food, a third for his drink and a third for his breath.” The result of excessive consumption of food and drink is excessive
sleep.

Sufyan At-Thawri observed, “By partaking in only a little food one is then able to stay awake during the night.”

Another advised, “Do not eat of a lot so that you drink a lot, then sleep a lot and lose a lot.”

Lady Ayesha, wife of the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with her, described the habit of the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, saying. “He never filled his stomach completely. He neither asked his family for food, neither did he desire it. If they fed it to him then he ate. Whatever they served him he accepted and he
drank whatever he was given.”

Luqman, known for his wisdom (and mentioned in the Koran) said to his son, “My son, when the intestines are full, contemplation sleeps, wisdom is dulled and limbs hesitate and weaken in worship.”

Sahnun said, “Knowledge does not befit someone who eats until he is replete.”

The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, told his Companions, “I, myself do not eat seated in a reclining posture” or sitting cross legged or in a comfortable manner. When the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, sat, he sat in a squatting position as if he was going to get up.

When the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, slept it was but a little. He said, “My eyes sleep, but my heart does not sleep.” When he slept, he slept on

his right side so that his sleep would be shallow. Sleeping on the left side is easier on the heart and one’s organs as they incline to the left side. When one sleeps on the right side, there is a tendency to wake up quickly and is not overcome by deep slumber.

Miracle of the Saints:Abu Ali Diqaq

On one occasion a dervish visited Diqaq and asked him for a little space where he may die. Diqaq vacated a corner for the man. The man went to the place and began reciting the Names of the Lord. Hiding, from a distance Diqaq watched the movements of this man upon which he said “Diqaq do not pollute me”. Astonished Diqaq left his hiding place. The man continued repeating the Name of Allah and in this state he passed away. Immediately Diqaq approached the area where the man had been but could find no trace of him. He prayed to the Almighty that he might tell him what had become of the dervish’s body. The Divine Voice said, “Do not seek him. Even the angel of death sought him in vain; the angels of paradise also searched but could not find him”. “Then where is he? ‘O Lord?” he asked. The reply came “he is in the company of the Truth before the Omnipotent King”. (Tadhkeratul Auliya)
