Allahumma Shalli ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala Aali Sayyidina Muhammad wa Ashabihil Akhyar
This is from the book “Tafsir Al-Jilani” ; written by Sulthanul Awliya Ghausul Azam Shaykh Muhyiddin Abdul Qadir al Jilani Qaddassallah Sirruhu (this book keep in our library).
This book is published under the supervision and tahqiq of Shaykh Muhammad Fadhil al-Jilani from Turkey (he is the Turkish Sunni scholar and direct descendants of Sultan al-Awliya). He has found the manuscript in the Vatican, so after hundreds year this book is hidden in the Vatican library.
Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani explain about the 12 Imams Ahlulbait when interpreted Surah As Shuura, ayah 23.
ذٰلِكَ الَّذِيْ يُبَشِّرُ اللّٰهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ ۗ قُلْ لَّاۤ اَسْئَـــلُـكُمْ عَلَيْهِ اَجْرًا اِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِى الْقُرْبٰى ۗ وَمَنْ يَّقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهٗ فِيْهَا حُسْنًا ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ شَكُوْرٌ
“Say, [O Muhammad], I do not ask you for this message any payment [but] only good will through my family (Al Qurba).”
(QS. As Shuura 42: Ayah 23)
When this aayah revealed, the companions asked :
“O Rasulullah, who is Al Qurba which is mandatory to love?”
Rasulullah Shallallahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi wa Salam said :
“Aliyyun wa Fathimatun wa Abnauhuma.”
(It is Ali, Fathima, and all their descendant)
Then Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (ra) said :
“Wa kafaaka Syahidan Aliyyun dhaalika dhuhurul a’immata (fii nasakhatin ziyadatun al ithna ash’ari)”
We being witnessed that this aayah is refer to 12 Imam of Ahlulbayt. This is definitely Ahlusunnah creed which is different with Shia belief.
Ahlusunnah reject the concept of Shia Imamat and their cults. Ahlusunnah belief that 12 Imam of Ahlulbayt is the leader of all Awliya Allah, they are spiritual Imam of this Deen.
Sultan al-Awliya Sayyiduna Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani – قدس الله سره – talks about the “Twelve Imams Ahlulbait” in his “Tafsir Al-Jilani” (Turkish original version).
This book also translated and published into Indonesian language, however unfortunately there’s academical dishonest in translating this book. In the Indonesian version the words mentioning the twelve Imams being erased.
That is how our Sunni scholars hide the truth out of fear being accussed as Shia.
We should rise and show the truth as it is, and we don’t have to fear being accussed as Shia, because the belief of 12 Imams amongs Ahlusunnah totally different with the Shia doctrines. And we refutes the Shia imamate doctrines, because Ahlusunnah believed the twelve Imams of Ahlulbait as the Imam of Tawhid ~ Imam of Ihsan ~ The leaders of Awliya.
If the scholars of Ahlusunnah continue to hold their tongues in submiting the truth of Ahlulbait, then it is only two choice for our next generation, whether they became a rafidhi or the nashibi.
