Submission of a Mule
Once, a person described, “My father was a veterinary doctor. He used to treat Hazrat Zaki’s animals also. There was an obstinate mule in caliph Mustaeen stable. None could rein and ride it. One of the colleagues told the caliph, ‘Why do you not tell one of your servants to trap Hasan bin Raza? Give this mule to him. Ask him to ride it. The person called him.” When he came, the mule was standing in the compound of the house. He came near it and put his hand on its back. The mule started perspiring. Then he went to the Mustaeen; he asked him to sit with him and talked to him very respectfully, ‘O’ Muhammad! Rein this mule,’ Hazrat Zaki told my father to rein the mule. The caliph said, ‘O, Hazrat, you yourself rein it.’ Hazrat Zaki caught the mule, reined it, came back and sat on his seat. The caliph said again, ‘Huzur, please you yourself set the saddle also.’ He again got up, went to the mule, set the saddle, returned to his place and sat on his seat. The person requested, ‘It will be better if you ride on it.’ He rode and made it run in the compound itself. The mule did not misbehave at all. When he got down, the caliph asked, ‘How is the mule?’ He said, ‘I never saw a better mule than this before.’ The caliph presented the mule in his service. Hazrat Zaki told my father, ‘Hold it and take it away.’ My father took away the mule very peacefully. Since then, the mule never went wild.
Getting Gold from the Earth
Once a person described, “I described my poverty before Hazrat Zaki As he had an iron rod in his hand, he dug the ground with it and gold worth five hundred dirhams was acquired from there. He gave me the whole of it.”
To Free from the Prison
Once a person described, “I was in prison. I wrote a letter to Hazrat Zaki describing the hardships and tortures of the prison. I wished to describe the problems with my livelihood but was ashamed to write it. In reply, he wrote to me, ‘Today you offer the noon prayer (Zuhar Namaz) at your place. روو
On the same day, I was relieved from prison, and I offered the noon prayer at my house. All of a sudden, I saw his messenger coming towards me who brought one hundred dinars for me. He carried a chit also with him wherein it was written, ‘Whenever you need money, without any hesitation, ask for it, because you will get whatever you wish.” “
