The Story of Prophet Idris عليه السلام and the Angel of Death
Prophet Idris عليه السلام was among the earliest prophets sent to humanity. The Quran describes him in just a few words, but those words carry weight:

“And mention Idris in the Book. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. And We raised him to a high station.” (Surah Maryam 19:56–57)

Idris was known for deep worship, wisdom, and discipline. He taught people writing, knowledge, and justice. His days were filled with remembrance of Allah, and his nights with devotion. The angels knew him not as a distant name on earth, but as a soul whose deeds rose daily to the heavens.

According to narrations mentioned by scholars of tafsir, the Angel of Death once came to Idris in human form.

Idris recognized him and spoke with calm clarity.

“You are the Angel of Death,” Idris said.

“Yes,” the angel replied.

Idris then asked something unusual. Not out of fear, but out of longing.

“I wish to see how souls are taken, and how death truly feels, so I may increase in gratitude and obedience.”

By Allah’s permission, the Angel of Death carried Idris through the heavens. Idris saw wonders unseen by human eyes: angels in constant worship, realms ordered by divine command, and a reality far greater than the world he had left behind.

When they reached a high station, the Angel of Death received a command. Idris’s soul was to be taken there.

In that elevated place, between earth and heaven, Idris met his end. His soul was taken gently, and he was honored in a way no ordinary servant is. This is what many scholars understood from the verse: “We raised him to a high station.”

Whether every detail of this encounter is literal or symbolic, the message is clear.

Idris did not fear death.

He prepared for it.

He wanted to understand it so he could worship Allah better.

The Lesson

Death is not punishment for the righteous.

It is a meeting.

It is a transition.

It is an honor when a life is lived in truth.

Prophet Idris عليه السلام teaches us that elevation does not come from power or fame, but from consistency in faith, sincerity in worship, and honesty with Allah.

A short mention in the Quran.

A towering rank in the sight of Allah.

That is the legacy of Idris عليه السلام.

*🕌हजरत मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु और शेर का वाक्या आपकी शान*

➡️सरकार इमाम  हजरत मूसा अल काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु की शान का
आपके दौर मे जालिम बादशाह था ज्यादातर आपको कैद मे रखा गया
आवाम मे बादशाह से ज्यादा इमाम मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु की इज्जत होती थी

➡️बादशाह इस बात से बहुत जलता था  हसद करता था की दौलत हमारे पास हुकुमत मेरे पास फिर भी लौग शादात मूसा काजिम की इज्जत करते हैं

➡️एक दिन बादशाह ने मशबरा किया की क्या किया जाये जो इमाम  मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु शहीद हो जायें और नाम भी न हो

➡️किसी ने मशबरा दिया की जंगल से शेर पकडो और भूखें रखो सात दिन तक फिर इमाम मूसा काजिम अलैहिस्सलाम  को इनके बीच भेज दो शहीद भी हो जायेंगे और नाम भी नही होगा

➡️ऐसा ही किया जब शेर को पिंजड़े  मे बन्द कर दिया और भूखा रखा
फिर इमाम मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु को बुलाया गया  और कहा हुजूर आप आले रसूल हैं
हमको बतायें आप जाकर की कौन शेर आला नस्ल का है

➡️जब इमाम मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु को पिंजड़े में तसरीफ ले गये
सब लौग देख रहे थे की अभी शेर इमाम को खा जायेंगे
उधर से शेर आगे बडे इधर से नवास-ए-रसूल इमाम मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु  और शेर पास आकर कदमों पर सर रख दिया

➡️इमाम उनके सरों पर हाथ फेरने लगे
फिर इमाम मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु ने फरमाया
ए बादशाह इज्जत और जिल्लत अल्लाह  के हाथ में  है

➡️और फरमाया ए बादशाह कहलाने बाले यह सब शेर आला नस्ल के है *क्योंकि आला नस्ल ही हमको पहचानता है कम नस्ल नही पहचानता*

अल्लाहु अकबर
बादशाह ने यह मंजर देखा पसेमान होने लगा
और लौग अल्लाह के रसूल सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे व वस्सल्लम के आल पर नवासे पर दरूद भेजने लगे
सलाम हो इमाम मूसा काजिम रजिअल्लाहु तआला अन्हु पर

👥नाजरीन इकराम यह होती है शान औलाद ए नवी पाक सल्लल्लाहो अलैहे व वस्सल्लम की
मौला अली मुश्किल कुशा मौला अली अलैहिस्सलाम की आल की यह शान है शेर जानबर सब जानते हैं
जनबरो पर सैय्यद का गौस्त हराम है
आपकी बेशुमार करामातें हैं जाहिर हैं

*या इमाम मूसा अल काजिम अलैहिस्सलाम रजिअल्लाहु ताआला अन्हु*

28-Rajab – Imam Hussain (as) leaved Madina

When Imam (as) had made his decision to leave Madina, he (as) went to the grave of his brother Imam Hasan (as)with a very heavy heart. There he (as) stayed for some time talking to his brother saying “O brother now your killers are thirsty of my blood. It looks like time for my martyrdom is near and I am leaving you now.”I imagine that Imam Hasan (as) would have replied from his (as) grave – O my Brother I bid you farewell and give you my son Qasim to become your Sadqa in Karbala.
After that Imam (as) went to the grave of his Grandfather, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saww). He stayed there for a long time and wept a lot until he went to sleep. He saw the Prophet (saww) in his dream and said to him “O my Grandfather, My Salutations to You. The land of Madinah has become small for me. Tyrants among your ummah are after my blood and I am leaving Madinah with a heavy heart”.
Finally Imam Hussain (as) came to the grave of his mother Bibi Syeda Fatima Zahra (sa). Historians write that Imam (as) ran towards her grave just like a child runs toward his Mother and he fell on her grave just like a child falls in the lap of the mother. Imam (as) said “O my mother accept my last Salaam. I am leaving the land of Madinah and would not come back. The prophecy of my Grandfather is about to come true”. I imagine that Bibi Zahra (sa) would have said from her grave “O my beloved son, O the one whom I have raised by keeping awake in the night, I would not let you go alone. From this day I would not rest in my grave but I would accompany you throughout your journey.”
Historians write that throughout the journey various people reported to Imam (as) that when everyone goes asleep during the night, we hear feminine voices of weeping and a BIBI’s Voice crying “YA HUSSAIN, YA HUSSAIN”. Imam (as) told them “O my trusted companions this is my Mother Zahra (sa) who is with me ever since I have left Madinah”
Lord of Martyrs Imam Hussain (as) leave Madina for Makkah in the month of Rajab; exactly four months remained for Hajj.
