Have You Ever Wondered How Powerful Salawat/Durood Can Be?

■ Have You Ever Wondered How Powerful Salawat/Durood Can Be?

My dear readers, listen carefully because this is a story that will make your heart wajd with love for our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. SubhanAllah the blessed presence of Hazrat Khawaja Qazi Muhammad Sultan Alam Mirpuri رحمة الله عليه, a man whose very breath seemed to carry the Noor of knowledge.

Scholars from far and wide would come to sit in his company, carrying their heavy tomes and countless questions about tricky matters of knowledge. And you know what would happen?

They would flip through pages and pages of books, searching high and low for answers, but the answer would just not appear! Not a single word of the solution in sight, no matter how much they tried. And then, Allahu Akbar, here comes the beautiful secret: Hazrat Mirpuri رحمة الله عليه would take the book gently into his blessed hands, close it, and send a wave of Durood upon our Beloved Prophet ﷺ. And the moment he opened the book again, there it was—the very answer that had been hiding like a shy little bird! SubhanAllah! Can you imagine that? Just from a heartfelt Salawat/Durood, the solution revealed itself!

Allahu Akbar, how wondrous is this! Truly, sending Salawat/Durood upon the Prophet ﷺ is like unlocking treasures that no effort alone can uncover. And this is not some small thing, my dear readers. It has been passed down from reliable sources straight to the poor seeker like you and me—proof that love and devotion have barakah power in the spiritual world.

And now, think about the Hadith of our Beloved ﷺ where he lovingly commands:

“O my Ummah! Send Salawat/Durood upon me abundantly, because the first question you will be asked in the grave is about me.”

SubhanAllah, such a sweet, tender warning! Can you see it? The angels coming with questions, and out of all questions, the first, the most important one, is about the Prophet ﷺ. Why? Because love for him is the key to everything!

So, what does this mean? It means that when the angels Munkar and Nakeer come to ask, the answer that comes from the heart of the believer who has been showering Salawat/Durood will be clear and confident:

“This is my Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the Chosen One, the Most Honored, the One we recognize by the clear signs of love and devotion!”

SubhanAllah can you imagine the heart glowing like a lantern, filled with the Noor of love for the Prophet ﷺ?

Every time you send Salawat/Durood, the heart of your soul becomes brighter, the love deeper, and the recognition of the Beloved ﷺ becomes sharper. That is why Nabi Kareem ﷺ emphasized it, over and over, because Salawat/Durood is not just words—it is a bridge, a golden rope, connecting our hearts directly to the soul of our Prophet ﷺ.

So, my dear readers, do not delay. Make Salawat/Durood your constant companion, whisper it, murmur it, let it spill from your heart like the sweetest perfume. And remember, even when the books are closed, when the answers seem hidden, when the world feels dark and confusing, a sincere Salawat/Durood can light the way and reveal what was meant for you.

Truly, in Salawat/Durood there is power, in Salawat/Durood there is love, and in Salawat/Durood there is the key to the heart of the Beloved ﷺ.

So come on, let’s start now! Send Salawat/Durood, send love, and watch the hidden answers of your heart and soul open before your very eyes.

Love for Belovedﷺ:

■ Love for Belovedﷺ:

A man once came to Imam Shafi‘i ؓ and said, “You claim that your Prophet ﷺ is superior to all the other Prophets, and that whatever honor and rank Allah ﷻ gave to any Prophet, He has also given it to your Master, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. But tell me, has your Prophet ﷺ ever brought a dead person back to life, like Prophet ‘Isa عليه السلام did?”

Now, this man was actually a Christian, which is why he asked such a question. He said, “This is even written in your Qur’an, that ‘Isa عليه السلام gave life to the dead. So you also believe this.”

Imam Shafi‘i ؓ replied, “Yes, indeed, that is true. But let me explain the difference.”

The man asked, “What difference?”

Imam Shafi‘i ؓ said, “The dead that ‘Isa عليه السلام brought back to life were those into whom Allah ﷻ had already once placed a soul. First, they lived, then they died, and then by the command of Allah, ‘Isa عليه السلام revived them again.

But my Master, the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, gave life to things into which Allah ﷻ had never placed a soul in the first place. Things that were never meant to be alive – trees, leaves, stones – yet by his blessing, they spoke, they responded, they bore fruit.”

This is the reach of the Prophet ﷺ, his rank, his status, his closeness to Allah ﷻ.

True Rahmah (mercy) is not only to revive what once lived, but to breathe life into what was never alive.

For example, the mountain of Uhud. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Uhud loves me, and I love Uhud.” Now ask yourself, can something lifeless like a mountain feel love? No, only a living being can love. But Uhud responded, Uhud moved, Uhud expressed love, Uhud shook in ecstasy when the Prophet ﷺ stood upon it.

Narrations tell us that when the mountain shook beneath the Prophet ﷺ and the companions, the Prophet ﷺ said to it, “Be firm, O Uhud, for upon you is a Prophet, a Siddiq, and two martyrs.”

And the mountain stilled out of obedience. This is why the Prophet ﷺ declared, “Uhud loves us, and we love Uhud.”

Look at the greatness of love! Whoever loves the Prophet ﷺ, whether human, jinn, or even stone and tree, will be honored by Allah ﷻ.

That is why the mountain of Uhud will be in Paradise, though it never recited the Shahadah. And the palm tree, known as Hannānā, that cried in longing for the Prophet ﷺ when he left it, will also be in Paradise.

This is called the Kalima of Love, the Word of Ishq (divine love).

Once, a Jew challenged the Prophet ﷺ and said, “If you can make that tree testify that you are the Messenger of Allah, I will believe in you.”

The Prophet ﷺ replied, “I do not need to call it. You go and call it, and it will come.”

So the man went to the tree and said, “O tree, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is calling you.”

And suddenly, the tree pulled its roots out of the earth and walked, step by step, until it reached the feet of the Prophet ﷺ and fell in prostration.

Seeing this miracle, the Jew immediately recited the Shahadah and embraced Islam.

This is the rank of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ – not only the reviver of souls but the giver of life to what was never alive, the one whom even mountains and trees could not resist loving.
