Islamic rulers and their Sufi influence:
Throughout Islamic history, many great rulers were deeply influenced by Sufi saints and their teachings. From Salahuddin Ayyubi, guided by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, to Osman Ghazi, inspired by Sheikh Edebali, Sufism shaped their leadership with wisdom, justice, and spiritual strength. These rulers often kept close ties with Sufi orders like Qadiri, Chishti, Naqshbandi, and Mevlevi, finding in them moral guidance and a connection to the Divine. This influence not only shaped their personal lives but also helped build just societies where spirituality and governance walked hand in hand.
