■ Why Is Loving Prophets and Friends of Allah ﷻ So Important?

Hazrat Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya (رحمتہ اللّه علیہ) once said:

❝Having love for Prophets and friends of Allah ﷻ in your heart is better than worshipping for thousands of years. So, people should always remember them with respect and talk about their good qualities.❞

He then shared a beautiful story:

When Qarun (a very wealthy man who was an enemy of Allah ﷻ and Prophet Musa عليه السلام) was being punished and swallowed by the earth, he reached the fourth level underground. There, some people asked him, “Who are you, and where do you come from?”

Qarun replied, “I am from the nation of Musa عليه السلام.”

As soon as he mentioned Prophet Musa’s name, Allah ﷻ commanded, “Stop here. Do not take him further down.” Even though Qarun was an enemy of Allah ﷻ, he was saved from further punishment just because he mentioned the name of His beloved Prophet Musa عليه السلام.

After narrating this, Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya (رحمتہ اللّه علیہ) became emotional and said,

❝If this is the case of a person who was an enemy of Allah ﷻ but was saved just by mentioning the name of Prophet Musa عليه السلام, imagine the great reward and safety for a true believer who keeps the love of Prophets and friends of Allah ﷻ in their heart until the Day of Judgment! Surely, they will not burn in the fire of Hell.❞

May Allah ﷻ fill our hearts with the love of His Prophets and friends, and may we always speak good about them.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰٓی آلِہٖ وَبَارِكْ وَسَلِّمْ
