■ What does “Panjtan Pak” mean?
The term Panjtan Pak (The Pure Five) refers to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Sayyidah Fatimah رضي الله عنها, Imam Ali رضي الله عنه, Imam Hasan رضي الله عنه, and Imam Husayn رضي الله عنه. It signifies their spiritual and familial connection.
The responsibilities of Prophethood (Nubuwwat) included not only spreading the message of Islam but also upholding its principles through immense sacrifice. These duties extended to the Ahl al-Bayt (the family of the Prophet ﷺ), who shared in the mission of maintaining and protecting the faith. In fulfilling these sacred responsibilities, they endured trials and ultimately gave their lives as martyrs (shuhada).
Their sacrifices remind us of the immense dedication required to preserve the truth.
They have Faiz of Nubuwah.
❝Indeed, Allah intends to remove all impurity from you, O people of the [Prophet’s] household, and to purify you completely.❞
(Qur’an 33:33)
