A lion from the picture was brought to life

In the field of miracles, Hazrat Musa Kazim was unique and second to none. He always followed truth and never hesitated to tell the truth even the face of a tyrant king. None could suppress his voice. Socially and politically, whatever the circumstance may be, he would never be under his impression and change his way of life. There are many episodes prevalent in the Islamic world that provides testimony of this fact. Some of them may be narrated as under. Once be was sitting in Harun Rashid’s assembly and someone referred to Hazrat Musa’s miracles. Hazrat Musa Kazim said. “Now listen. Here there is a picture of a lion on this carpet. I say “come to life.” it will be turned into a real lion. Before the sentence was over, the picture became a real lion. He ordered the lion, Stop? I have not ordered you to come to life, and the lion was again turned into picture

He will die tonight

Ishaq Ibn-e-Ammar says. “When Harun Rashid imprisoned Hazrat Imam Masa Kazim Hazrat Abu Yusuf, Hazrat Muhammad-bin-Husain and Imam Abu Hanifu went to him, offered greetings and thought to ask him some questions with a view to knowing his religious stage. At that time, a guard came and said. Now, my duty is over, and I am going. I will come tomorrow, by Allah’s will. If you have to give me any work, please tell me so that I may complete it before coming here tomorrow.” He said, You may go. I do not have any work. Then he told Hazrat Imam Abu Yusuf and Hazrat Imam Muhammad, “I am surprised when this man asks me about my need. In fact, he is going to die tonight. When both the gentlemen heard this, they stopped questioning and did not enquire any more. They said. Our intention was to ask about compulsory and voluntary duties. But though he sits with us, he talks with the knowledge of the unseen. They said. We will send a man with him who will stay with him and see what happens.’ Then he sent a servant behind him who, sat at the gate and watched what was going to happen. When the night advanced, sobbing and weeping were heard from the house. The servant asked the house-wife, What happened? Is everything fine? The answer was, “My husband has died. When the messenger came and gave this news, both of them was very much surprised. (Tashrif-ul-Bashar)
