ABUNDANCE OF HIS صلى الله عليه وسلم FOLLOWERS.

 

According to Anas b. Malik :
“Allah’s Messenger said: ‘I will be the first one to
intercede concerning Paradise. No Prophet was believed as much
as I have been believed (by the people). There is also a Prophet
among Prophets who was believed by only one man in his
Umma.’”
Reported by al-Muslim, Ahmad, Ibn Abi Shayba and Abu
Ya’la.

According to Ibn Abbas :
“The Prophet said: ‘The people were discloed to of
me and I saw one Prophet was passing by with a large group of his
followers, and another Prophet was passing by with only a small
group of people, and another Prophet was passing by with only
ten (persons), and another Prophet was passing by with only five
(persons), and another Prophet passed alone. And then I looked
and saw a large group of people, so I asked Gabriel , ‘Are these
people my followers?’ He said. ‘No! But look towards the
horizon.’ I looked and saw a very large group of people. He
(Gabriel ) said: ‘These are your followers! And those seventy
thousand (persons) in front of them are the one who will neither
have any reckoning of their accounts nor will receive any
punishment.’ I asked, ‘Why?’ He said, ‘For they do not used to
treat themselves with branding (cauterization) nor with Ruqya
(get oneself treated by the recitation of some Verses of the Qur’an)
and they do not used to see evil omen in things, and they used to
put their trust (only) in their Lord (Allah 9).’ On hearing that,
‘Ukasha b. Mihsn got up and said (to the Prophet), ‘Invoke
Allah 9 to make me one of them.’ He (Prophet ) said: ‘0
Allah, make him one of them.’ Then another man got up and said (to the Prophet), ‘Invoke Allah 9 to make me one of them.’ He
(Prophet ) said, “Ukasha has preceded you.’”

 According to Imran b. Husayn :
“Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said: ‘I hope that you will be a
quarter of the people of Paradise.’ They (the companions ) said;
Allah Akbar. Then he said: ‘I hope that you will be a third of the
people of Paradise.’ They said; Allah Akbar. Then he said: ‘I hope
that you will be half of the people of Paradise.’ They said; Allah
Akbar.” He (the narrator) said: ‘I do not know if he said two thirds
or not.’”
Reported by al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Ma’ja and Ahmad. And al￾Tirmidhi said; This is a fine tradition.

. Bahz b. al-Hakim narrated from his father, and from his
grandfather:
“He heard from the Prophet about the saying of
Almighty Allah 9, the Most High: ‘{You are the best community
brought forth for (the guidance of) mankind…[Al-i-Imran:110]},
He said: ‘You are the completion of seventy nations, you are
the best of them, and the most honorable of them to Allah.’”
Reported by al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Ma’ja and Ahmad. And al￾Tirmidhi said; This is a fine tradition. And al-Hakim said; this is a
tradition with authentic chain of transmission.

Ibn Buraidah narrated from his father:
“Allah’s Messenger said: ‘The people of Paradise are in
one hundred and twenty rows, eighty of them are from this
nation (my Umma), and forty are from the rest of the nations.’”
Reported by al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Ma’ja. And al-Tirmidhi said;
this is a fine tradition. And al-Hakim said; this tradition is authentic.
